Bad service, worse resolutions. They said I had a fuel leak and a switch needed to be replaced. They said all the fuel lines needed to be replace due to this leak. I suggested that there was no leak that the fuel they saw was from the recent repair they had done. I took the car to another much more reputable dealer and sure enough no leak, no need to replace the switch. On top of all this they damage several items on the car and didn't even put it back together correctly. All this was done during a regular service and not a repair. Numerous times while going there various customers would be yelling and cursing at service reps, I should have taken that as a sign. Go there only as a last resort and make sure you document and photograph everything. Additional information, documents and photos available upon request.

DETAILS: I initially called America Tire Depot located at 83191 CA-111, Indio, CA 92201 on 08/28/20 and spoke to Eddie (store manager) regarding installation of three tires and a wheel alignment. I informed Eddie that I would be driving the vehicle the following day (08/29/20). After leaving the vehicle at the facility and picking it up a approximately 5 hours later, and paying the 160.00 bill, I walked out to my car to inspect the vehicle. DAMAGE: My vehicle had severe damage to all three wheels (please see photos attached). The gashes were deep to include paint chip damage to the front driver side wheel. I walked back into the store and asked Eddie to inspect the damage to my car. Eddie acknowledged the damage and asked I bring in my vehicle "when I had time" so he can make repairs. He also stated; "I will sweeten the pot and give you 100.00 store credit". I told him that was not happy and that I would reach back out to him. AREA MANAGER EMAIL REPLY: Over the weekend, I was able to research and locate the area manager for American Tire Depot. I emailed and spoke to Jason regarding my experience and informed him that I would prefer to take my vehicle to another repair shop of my choice - I included a repair estimate of 642.00 dollars for the damages. Jason's reply to me after rejecting his 225.00 dollar offer; "Ok despite my best efforts at a fair and market value offer of $ 225.00 to repair your wheels I understand you have declined this offer and instead wish to go another route.   Ill now consider this matter closed.   Thanks again and Good Day to you." WARNING: Folk's I strongly suggest you consider a tire shop that would not only stand behind their work, but treat you fairly even after acknowledging their costly mistakes. I NEED TO KNOW THE PRICE 4CHEV. MALIBU 2002

Our 2000 Toyota Sienna's engine light came on, took it to dealership in San Diego (we lived there until Jun 2010), they said all 2 O2 sensors (there are actually 4) would need to be replaced at a cost of $1200+, went to another dealer in San Diego and they mentioned 4 sensors would need to be replaced??? Waited until we moved to Hemet (wife's military) and had local dealership look at it, mentioned 2 sensors would need to be replaced at a cost of $1700.00!!!! because we lived in Oregon for a while there was considerable rust underneath the vehicle and there was a good possibility of the exhaust manifold needing to be replaced??? Took it home and looked underneath... not a stitch of rust - are you kidding me! Can't stand deceit. Asked around at our church, since we were new to the area, if anyone had dealings with an honest mechanic in town... was given Rod's name and #, a day later minus one sensor and $300.00 problem fixed!!!
