We eventually ended up at The Foreign Aid in Grand Junction. On short notice, Steve, the owner, went out of his way to fit us in the next morning, despite how busy they were. He had us in the shop by 8am. These guys know their way around Volkswagens, BMWs, and other imports. Him and his team found the issue very quickly (a faulty computer), and had us all fixed up and back on the road that afternoon, the same day. Steve's customer service is fantastic; he constantly keeps you updated on the status of your vehicle. Him and his team genuinely care about what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work and service, and for a very fair price. Would very highly recommend.

Towed my '69 VW bus in with dread and doom thinking I'd lost number 3 cylinder of my aircooled 2 litre stroker motor in route from San Diego to Boulder. Long story short, brought it in and had me out same day after diagnosing rocker arm had lost a swivel head to the push rod... Miracle of prayer answered and great service to live and travel another day! Thanks guys!

They basically kept demanding money and holding my car hostage until, $3,500 later I towed it home with the job half done. The work performed was beyond amateurish; they lost the dipstick and replaced it with a coat hanger, 40 year old hoses were left in place but new hose clamps were installed at ten times the retail value, I was charged for a carb rebuild but the engine wouldn'd start upon pickup, the hood was removed but not replaced, the list goes on and on.
