These are the only folks I've trusted my Volkswagen within the last three years or so - my roommate has brought her Honda there for six years. They are honest, reliable, and the only people I feel comfortable trusting my car with. They explain everything very clearly, have great customer service, and are incredibly knowledgable about Volkswagens. I'm writing this after a major engine repair and I'm still thrilled about them. Avoid this shop! Took my car for replacing one engine part. I was told that the part has been replaced and everything is working now. It turns out that part was put in incorrectly and two main bolts were not even installed. Three different auto repair shops looked a the repair and all said that they have never seen such a bad job. This badly put part caused $1,000 damage to two other parts and this repair shop refuses to take responsibility for their shoddy job. Friendly advice, AVOID Auto ER on Archer Road, Gainesville, FL.

I need a quick replacement of my brake light bulbs. Sam at the front desk was very nice and efficient. Even though I was a walk-in, they replaced my bulbs in less than an hour. The whole experience was great and I would recommend them to anyone. -Jeanann Hand

My 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was due for its first transmission fluid flush at 90,000 miles which was performed by Fishers in October of 2022. Two weeks later, the transmission failed without warning upon departing from a traffic stop light. Within minutes of the event, I brought the truck to Fishers for help. They explained that the transmission had gone bad, could not be repaired, and needed replacement. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, agreed to the replacement and paid nearly $5000. To their credit, the replacement of the transmission with a warrantied remanufactured unit was accomplished quicker than estimated. With the work completed, the truck ran well ...until May of 2023 when a loud squealing noise was heard and followed by a very hard shift. Additional intermittent noises and sloppy shifting prompted a return to Fisher's ...to which they acknowledged that the fluid was already exhibiting signs of failure, but did little else beyond suggesting: "We'll just have to wait and see what happens" and the owner Sarah telling me that she would contact the transmission remanufacturer. A few more weeks of driving with the specter of an imminent breakdown triggered my bringing the truck to a transmission repair specialist. They diagnosed a failing Torque Converter and stated that the fluid should not look or smell the way it did at just 7000 miles after a major repair. Despite being under warranty, I had no desire to wait until the transmission failed, the probable long tow back to Fisher's, likely warranty claim disappointment, and downtime impact upon my business route. My experience with Fisher resulted in the premature loss of a beloved truck, adding a large unplanned financial (on top of those already incurred) and time expenditure for a replacement vehicle. They were given an opportunity to address the problem when it was obviously getting worse and their inaction has lost them this faithful customer, his mother, her neighbor and whomever else I can convince with this review.

Shannon is a pleasure to deal with shows the number and has the updated equipment to do the same procedures as the dealer at FAR less cost. Dealer prices in Ocala seem to have one idea in mind...take advantage of the unaware. The $600 maintenance in Ocala costs $280 in Atlanta. Shannon's cost was $280. Like I said fair and honest. He even tells you when it's not something he's comfortable handling. Also the cleanest garage floor you'll ever see.

My experience with the transmission shop was great. They are honest mechanics who stand by their work. The owner Joey, must really have Christ residing in his heart. They are extremely kind and professional.

I can't believe I'm giving Audio Outlet a five-star review, but these guys deserve it. It’s been more than a few years since my car stereo days of custom-building subwoofer enclosures and soldering capacitors to speaker terminals, but this week those days returned - due to theft. Yes, my car stereo was stolen. Windows smashed, wires ripped, worthless car stereo sold on the street for twenty bucks. It’s the way it goes. I cruised into Audio Outlet on a whim, as I was in the vicinity, and am I ever glad I did. All I needed was a handful of connectors and a few other odds and ends, and that's what I got. I was in and out in a flash, and I got exactly what I needed for a fraction of the cost had I gone to Home Depot, Radio Shack, or my local hardware store, for that matter. Thanks Audio Outlet!

Was traveling home to SC when my truck had transmission issues. Stopped in around closing time. Staff went above and beyond and stayed late to get us back on the road. Very professional.

Best auto repair in Gainsville.I had my spark plugs replaced.I had called the day before and was given an estimate. When I arrived the parts were there, the work was performed in the time period they had specified and the work was completed for less than their estimate.They were recommended to me by a man that has raced cars for over 40 years and they maintain his vehicles. I am completely satisfied and will use Ahrens Auto Service for all my automotive repairs.

We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and our alternator went out. We had our truck towed to Computa Tune for repair. We had all of our dogs with us and we were trying to make it to my sister's house in Georgia. Thank God we chose this shop for the repair. They fixed our truck and the price was unbelievably low. I had my car towed to Advance Auto because the starter died. They checked out the car and called me with a very reasonable price quote. When I picked my car up several hours later, the owner gave me the total, which was less than 1/2 the quoted price - he had checked out the starter, found that it had a short in it and repaired it for me,saving me the cost of the new part!! Additionally, they washed and vacuumed the car and scrubbed my ridiculously filthy wheels. They are cleaner than they've been since they were new! This is the most honest and honorable auto repair establishment that I have EVER had the good fortune to deal with.

Tom is really good at what he does. And most of all he's fair. I called 10 shops looking to put a performance muffler on my eclipse, everyone wanted me to buy there parts for no less then 200$ whech was flow master etc parts. I wanted a tuner sounding exhaust, well Tom was kind enough to tell me that I can bring my muffler and he will put it on for me. Well sure enough I saved 100s of dollars. And most of all I got what I wanted. And he did a great job. Thanks Tom. I will further use budget muffler as my #1 muffler shop.

I LOVE this Goodyear! They know me by name and are always honest and very reputable. There have been a couple of times that I was there and they found one or two things that were wrong with my vehicle that needed to be fixed. Since I am very skeptical of getting ripped off by car repair places, I checked around, only to find out that not only were they right, but they quoted me the best price! Now I know that I can relax and trust that they will be honest and take great care of me. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I've been going to them for years!

When I had my oil changed my oil cap was not put back on my engine. I got a check engine light looked under the hood and saw that it was gone. I called my Jiffy Lube and was told to have my car towed over and they would have a replacement cap for me and would do a free oil change. I had my car towed in and was told that the manager I talked to that morning must have lied to me, that there was no way they would do either of those things. I was told I needed to have someone pick me up or call a cab to go buy a new oil cap myself, and that they could slightly top off my oil or me and that would be it. I was given the district manager Leyon's number and called him Thursday, Friday, and Monday leaving voicemails with my name and number. He has not called me back.
