    My transmission works now, which is the most important thing. Their estimate was honest and the job took as long as expected. I recommend them!

    Type of Repair: Rebuild transmission

    Last Visit: 6 Months


    Had my transmission rebuilt by them some time June of last year (job took little over a week). It went out around 6 months later and I had to take it back to them again. I just received my car back from them today after they had it for over 2 weeks. There was zero communication in the entire time my car was in their possession unless I specifically called them. I was forced to speak with Rick (general manager) each time I called and with each call I was essentially being pushed aside being told irrelevant details pertaining to other peoples cars. He told me, "I will notify you when we get to working on your car, if there are any additional issues we find along the way, when you car is finished". I didn't receive a single call and was left completely in the dark. He did nothing but make excuses about how there were 2 weeks worth of cars in front of me (which is completely understandable) but failed to notify my of that upon my initial visit. If he told me his schedule was packed I would have happily brought my car in at a future date. But instead he had my car sit there for over 2 weeks with not so much as a phone call apologizing for the wait. When I spoke to him the day my car was finished he did nothing but make more excuses and quickly dismissed me out of frustration with "well your car is done have a good day". When I tried to ask him what was going on he couldn't help but mention that he's been in the business for 27 years. Well honestly he could have fooled me with the way he treats his customers. 
    
    I've worked in auto shops too and admit I don't do trans or engine work. So I happily take it to specialist when required. That being said I understand how important it is to take care of warranty work even though it means no one is making money of it. The service for my car was paid for ($2500+) yet he treated me like a new customer putting me in the back of the line.  Would you want to be wait again in a long line at a fast food joint if you voiced a complaint
