Plaza Tire on Broadway in Columbia, MO leaves a whole lot to be desired. The bigwigs at Cape Girardeau & Sun Auto who owns them know the details - but only listened to Zach...very sad indeed!

I brought my car to the Smiley Lane Plaza shop and asked them to fix the mistakes that the downtown shop made. The downtown shop didn't torque the lug nuts on my car correctly, and the wheel almost flew off on the highway going to St. Louis. I got to St. Louis having lost 2 lug nuts, and the other 3 so loose I could turn them with my fingers. I tightened the lugs nuts that remained in the parking lot of the airport, and found the nearest auto parts store to replace the 2 that had fallen off. The Smiley Lane store checked the torque on all my wheels, and checked the tire for wear for free. I have a life-time alignment for that car so I expected them to do the alignment for free, but I can tell you that the car drove noticably better after did the alignment. In addition, I asked them to reimburse me for the lug nuts I bought. This was only $8 dollars and didn't break the bank, but I felt I shouldn't have needed to buy them. It was really an integrity test, which the manager passed.He reimbursed my costs in cash. He was willing to fix the problems caused by another shop free of charge, and without complaints. I really appreciated that.

My daughter only had a 1 day window on getting her vehicle inspected as she had to go back to. school. Plaza got her in and out efficiently and were very polite to her as well.

I needed new tires for my 1998 Jeep TJ. Also wear was uneven and I suspected an alignment issue. David Hawkins was very helpful and I ended up getting larger tires based on his and another guy at Plazas suggestion and I love the new profile. I also needed an alignment and really like the lifetime alignment package. Thanks

My visiting experience was great! Very nice down to earth people. However, the 2005 Malibu I purchased was not the best purchase I could have made. I have had it for 5 months and I have had to work all kinds of kinks out! From the tires to A.R. arms $478, to struts, to brakes etc.... Now I have an engine light on and its something about my fuel recognition sensor!!!! Its been a headache. I wished I would have bought a better car with warranty!

Took months for him to do a job that he said at first would take him a week. Told me how much it would be, and said he would take payments towards it. Whenever he FINALLY finished with the car, he had almost doubled the price and started freaking out because he said he needed it all up front right now because he owed someone money. My family and I were able to get the money together so I could actually take my car home. Guess what? Still can’t drive it due to a lot of things still being wrong with it even though he said it was good to go. Not to mention the terrible communication the whole time he had my car. We always got vague answers whenever we were able to get a hold of him on the phone. But most of the time we ended up having to go in person to find out the status of my car. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
