ABS light on : 2008 Jeep Patriot

took front tires and brake calipers off to check pads. they looked ok, so I put them back on. drove a short way and the ABS,esp and bas warning lights came on and would not go out. Braking sysem seems to be normal.what could the problem be. Thank you

    I have seen this issue at my shop a few times on these truck the rear abs sensor goes bad with finding the issue the whole job costes around $300. I cant say for sure that the issue but that has been the most common issue.

      Unlike brakes of the past, ABS involves sensors and other functions to communicate that there may be a problem.  I suggest it may be best that your vehicle have diagnostic testing performed on it by a reputable auto repair shop that services ABS brakes.

        Thanks, I solved the problem. Topped it off with brake fluid and the lights went off. I should have known.
