Bleeding the Powersteering 2003 Honda Accord

"2003 honda accord LX 4 cylinder - I was bleeding the my power steering then all of sudden the resivoir cap popped off and powersteering fluid shot all over the motor do you know what the problem is?"

    It could be many things. A bad new pump, blockage in a line blockage or stuck valve in the steering rack. I could even be a belt routed wrong cause the pulley to turn backwards. I'm guessing you were bleeding the system due to replace the pump correct?

      2003 honda accord LX 4 cylinder - It's still shooting out power steering fluid,steering is hard to turn and theres a humming noise when you turn the steering wheel what could be the problem?

        I bleed power steering by leaving the cap off and going slowly lock to lock to get the air out. You may have had a big air bubble come out the of the system. If everything works ok now I wouldn't worry about it.
