car won't turn over when weather cold 2002 Ford Escape

Car Model: 2002 Ford Escape

a year ago I replaced the mass air flow sensor because the car wouldn't start until I unplugged the maf . now it only starts when the weather is warm outside . in the morning and eve I have to unplug the maf to make it start . figure it's trouble in the powertrain (computer) or maybe the new maf (not a ford factory maf) is not working right . even when it's warm I usually have to prime the pump a little . what do you think ? thank you

Yes any shop can do it. you don't need a ford tool. I have put the phone number of a well rated shop in your area give them a call and have it looked at.

I would agree the data stream must be checked the temp sensor may be misreading.

You need to have someone look at the datastream. MAF could be reading incorrectly but other sensors may be a factor. GL
