Won't turn over, battery just 1yr. old.  How can I test starter or do diagnostic myself?

    You'll have to follow the power from the battery. First on the back of the starter ck for power on the big cable that should have power all the time. No power would mean the cable has a issue if ok have someone get in the car and try to start if you don't see any power on the small wire. If there is no power then the issue is on the key side of the circuit. If you see power on both wires it's the starter
