Called around for a quote on resetting the steering sensor. EVERYONE quoted me at $50 (which is expensive to push a button). After Daves Beach Auto pushed the button, the total was $90. Rip off. This is why everybody hates mechanics.

I recently took my 2006 Toyota 4-Runner here to fix an issue with the A/C. Their pricing was very fair and they were courteous, honest, respectful, & timely in completing the job. Unfortunately, there was a minor issue with a part that they installed and, without hesitation, they honored the warranty and completely re-did the job. Wow!! I took my 97 Saturn to Earl's because of the automatic transmission not shifting into gear. I requested a used transmission put in. The first one they got from the junk yard was cracked and leaked fluid and had to be replaced. When I finally got it a week later, $1100 later, the car now doesn't shift into reverse easily so I took it back. Its under a 90 day warranty on parts only. They put in the valve from the cracked transmission and gave it back 3 days later saying it SEEMS better. After driving it for a day, it is still having reverse problems. Now they have to check with the junk yard to see if they can get another one and call back tomorrow. I feel I am getting the run around and they just don't want to fix it properly. If I wasn't already $1100 in the hole with them I would take it somewhere else.

This place is simply awesome! I went there a little while ago to have multiple repairs done to my car. They gave me an estimate on what I NEEDED to get done then gave me an estimate on what HAD to be done because of my financial situation. I lost my job right after that and they let me pay and stored my car for 2 weeks while I paid them off. FREE OF CHARGE. Who does that anymore?!? These guys are great. Plain and simple
