The total bill was about a third less than what I was quoted from my dealer and 20% less than Firestone and Pep Boys. I'd recommend these folks to anyone who owns a foreign vehicle which is no longer covered by warranty. Forget the HIGH cost of dealerships, and come to Mobile Auto Tech.

  • I had scratches to the left side of my car incurred in backing out o... read more I had scratches to the left side of my car incurred in backing out of an apartment complex parking lot, scraping a railing on a stoop. The original estimate from JDM and my insurance adjuster were only a few dollars apart. I brought my car in for repair at 8 AM on Monday, July 22nd and was told the repair would be 4 days. On Thursday I called and Paul Chilcott told me he forgot to call me about additional repairs needed, including a wheel that I specifically told him and the insurance adjuster was not to be part of the repair as it was not part of the accident. My insurance adjuster had to call the owner to straighten out the wheel issue. I was told my car would be ready the following Tuesday and that I would be called on Monday. On Wednesday I called and asked for a time when I could pick up my vehicle. I never received a call back. On Thursday my insurance company called, not JDM, and told me JDM would have my car ready on Friday. They would call. At 4:30 PM on Friday I decided to return my rental car and retrieve my car. I was further insulted with the lie that they had called and told me the car would be ready at 5:00. I never received such a call. I drove my car home without any final detail work - simply glad to have it back before the weekend (Friday, August 2nd). The repairs were minor, $2,100 originally, and should not have taken that long. Even so, honesty would have been appreciated. Do not do business with Paul Chilcott and JDM. You will regret it
