And, I updated my last name on one 1 of my vehicles to my, current, maiden name. At this time, I was informed that the last name on the Lincoln Navigator was from a previous marriage and divorce in 2005. I have been married/divorced twice since 2005 and changed my last name back to my maiden name in the interim, which is my legal last name, currently. On the 15th of January 2021, I went back to the tag agency with my 2005 divorce decree and requested to change the name on the title to my maiden name and license. I was advised because my divorce decree didn’t state that my name would be restored she couldn’t do it. I explained to her that the DMV changed my driver’s license back to my maiden, which I had a driver’s license in my possession. I left and came back and spoke with a heavy-set male who informed me of the same thing and went and spoke with a mgr./owner who informed him that I would have to call the Oklahoma Tax Commission and ask them if it were okay, and if so for me to get the name/phone number of the person whom I spoke with for him and he would do it. On the 22nd of January, I called the Oklahoma Tax Commission and spoke with Josh. I repeated the Ludacris request of the tag agency to Josh. I was informed that “the tag agency should be ashamed of themselves because they are regulated by the Tax Commission, and they should know their phone number to call instead of asking a customer to call and waste the customer’s time.” He also provided me with the phone number for Audit to voice my complaint, which I will do. Further, I went right to Nicoma Park Tag Agency and changed the name on the title, and was provided with professional service and accurate information. I will not be doing business with this entity in the future. In over 30 years of frequenting it, I don’t ever recall seeing anyone of color, of any nationality other than Caucasian working here. On each visit here, the staff play around with each other while completing transactions with their customers, as well as have conversations. No thank you. I hope that they receive the coaching that they need.

I met with my daughter from another mother to transfer the title of the car to her name since I am giving her my car. I had been a customers from this tag agency for over 18 years. I had never had issues until now. My drivers license had my full name. It is written by my first name, my middle name, my maiden name and my married name. An employee decided not to notarized my document because she said I will need a document that show only my unmarried name on the ID even though my maiden name was on my ID including my married name. She then said she have a right to refused service to anyone. As I walk out of the tag agency, I felt she refused service because I am a minority. All she saw was 3 minority women. Not knowing that I am giving this car to a college student so that she can continue to go to school. Prior to that this young lady was going to stop going to school because she wanted to get a job, save money so that she can buy a car. Then return to school. We then went to TFCU on 33rd and Byant and without hesitation after I showed the man my ID he notarized the title. Please take your business elsewhere. Where all people of any race are all welcome. I guess when one does good things others try to stop it, but it did not work. Darkness never win when God is involved in the process.
