Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber'... read more Was searching for a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI online and saw Huber's listed on the USAA and Carguru websites. Only problem was it was almost 2 hours away! The car's pictures, description and detail on the website made me give them a call. Eric Reder filled me in on the details over the phone and stressed how much work they put into the car before putting it on the lot. I was surprised to hear that because the car only had 36,000 miles on it! He also said that the car looks better in person than in pictures (he was right!). I drove out and met with Eric Huber and immediately hit it off with him- we are both VW guys. The car looked showroom condition (my wife said several times she can't believe its not new) but Huber's went over the car and performed all of the 40,000 mile services on it. The car is only at 36,000 miles! The point is, I think they could have just vacuumed it, washed it, put 2 tires on it and put it for sale, but Eric explained that most of his customers come there for follow up service and if I came back for the next oil change at 40,000 miles and he hit me with VW's recommended 40,000 mile service charge, I would undoubtedly be P.O'd since I just bought the car. And he's right. Eric showed me the list of all the work performed and gave me a copy for my records. Very impressed with that kind of thinking. Huber's is a full service car repair facility that also sells high quality used cars and they put good cars on the lot to keep their customers happy so they'll come back for service. Worked out well for me!
As the old method were thought to have gone away years ago (Con The ... read more As the old method were thought to have gone away years ago (Con The Customer for Auto Service ) to be honest and truthful when servicing your auto, This place has a lot to be desired. In the beginning everything was what ever they can do to give you the best service at reasonable price and slowly it went out the door with everything they advertised to be . Now watch out ! check everything they say needs to be replaced for State Inspection, How long it takes to complete a repair, Have old parts returned ( if they are the real ones?) Mark part if you know its the one to be replaced. If possible camp out there when your vehicle is in foe service "Just Kidding". Yes like other places in these times they are out to get you. In closing I have proof on all of this and will be bringing all I've been compiling over the past almost two years, and confront them & (Owner) very soon. The list is long From not doing what was on the bill to be done to flat out replacing parts that are not worn out. Set up to bring you back " like not greasing, that is show some on out side of fitting but not putting any in actual part. That It for now Keep eyes open and question everything second opinion is good.

I am a pregnant woman who was looking to trade 2 of my current vehicles in to fit my new baby. They wouldn't give us even HALF for Kelly Blue Book value for EITHER of our vehicles and when we asked why they told us because Kelly Blue Book means nothing even though they have it posted on all of their vehicles! They then ended up making a deal with us for the current vehicle we were looking to purchase. The salesman told us he had it all worked out in paper but was going home for the night so we should come back and sign them tomorrow but in the mean time we could take our new vehicle home. Our friends and family got to see it and we were happier then ever with it. Then they called us the next day and told us to bring it back because they couldn't work out the deal they promised! They then tried to shove us into another vehicle that we didn't want and when we told them that we didn't want that vehicle they demanded we bring the original one back immediately or they would come pick it up (meanwhile our vehicles are parked at their dealership)! So they were going to have our vehicles at their dealership and take theirs back so we were stuck without ANY! I'm PREGNANT! Best believe I am calling someone about this! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN EVER!
