Auto repair service near Glenside, PA

I own a repair shop about 10 minutes away from this business. I sometimes do get customers who want to get their vehicles checked before purchasing from this dealer. Vehicles from what I have seen were in good shape. Just minimal repairs here and there on some vehicles but overall in good shape. Last week I saw a Jeep Wrangler for sale on their parking lot and asked them if I could roll this car to my shop to get it checked on the lift. They allowed me to and was very easy going. Was in great shape and the value was pretty reasonable. Very satisfied with my purchase here. And to the first reviewer Sonny, hopefully all you did was just replaced the fuel pump. Fuel pumps eventually do go bad on any vehicle. No fuel circulation = engine not starting. If replaced, car should be fine.

I will never take my car to be serviced here again. I usually go to the Nissan on Ridge Pike but decided to go to Ardmore since it is closer to my job and they provide a shuttle service. The shuttle is the only good thing about the service department. And is not worth sacrificing the condition of my Car. I brought my car in initially because the check engine light came on. A few days later the issue was supposedly fixed after replacing a part covered under warranty. An unrelated visit took me back to get a tire replaced. This issue was fixed also. Now, comes the problem: Immediately after getting the tire replaced my air pressure light came on along with the check engine light. I called and they could not see my car for about 4-5 days. During these days I was forced to put air in a brand new tire daily. I finally had an appt and left the car with them all day. Upon picking the car up I have a bill for $160 dollars. They said it was $98 to diagnose the check engine light which read that I had low oil. They did the oil change for about $35 I guess and chared me $15 to check the pressure sensor. They said Nothing was wrong with the pressure and since I just needed a oil change you have to pay for the diagnosis. WHAT?? Being a woman I thought it was just me. Fist off if it was just an oil problem my OIL LIGHT would have come on as it usually does to tell me to check my oil. And I know there is a problem with the tire because it looses pressure daily. Not to mention they charged me $15 to check a tire THEY just replaced themselves. A day after paying for them to basically give me an oil change both lights came back on and the pressure was dangerously low again . I brought it back and they tried to tell me they were going to charge me another $98 and $15 to diagnose the same problems. After speaking with the SM I let them know I would not be paying them any more money. They checked the lights and actually looked at the tire to find I needed a similar part to the initial

The experiace I had at this store was very good. Lowest tire prices in the city. They carry just about any brand. Employee owned company really shoed in their service. I highly recommend.

A friend of mine recommended David to me 5 years ago when I was driving my old car ( Camry 1999 with over 250K mileage). I was amazed how professional, honest, fast, and fair he was. Having bought a used 1994 Honda Accord with 89,000 miles on it in 2010, it was time to do the basic maintenance on the car which the original owner had deferred. Carlos replaced the valve cover gasket, among other things which needed to be done. One of the spark plug o-rings inside did not seat properly when the cover was put back on. I took it back to Overseas and the problem was quickly remedied, then and there, same day, within an hour. This is why I do not mind paying just a little bit more. On bigger jobs like timing belts (which on this car get done every 90,000 miles and its also recommended to change the water pump which you have to go through to get to the timing belt) the extra $40 you will pay Carlos is well worth the piece of mind that the job will be done right, and that if there are any problems, it will be taken care of. My father takes his cars there, I take my car there. Dad is super anal about his vehicles. If its exceptional for him, its more then good enough for me. I went someplace else ONCE after moving back to Philly from my trusted Florida mechanic. Never again. Carlos and his mechanics are so thorough, they know more then the folks at the Acura dealership about these cars. You can't go wrong and can trust Overseas.

I want to say first this Shop was so friendly and helpful. I had got in car accident on Sunday. Called them Monday morning and my guy who I deal with, was out sick, so the Girl at the front desk, Cat got my car over to their shop right away! I even had the wrong phone number! I call the fax machine & Cat knew to call me back... Anyway, the whole experience was seamless, professional, and easy! They even dealt with my insurance company!
