OBD siren going off when starting my boat
I have a 2014 stingray, with a 135 hp 3.0 MPI mercruiser engine. Prior to the end of the season, during a hurricane I forgot to turn off my bills and drained the battery. After recharging the battery and reinstalling the battery every time I start the boat I get a siren going off in the engine compartment and the light on the OBD sensor. Adul prior to the end of the season, during a hurricane I forgot to turn off my bills and drained the battery. After recharging the battery and reinstalling the battery every time I start the boat I get a siren going off in the engine compartment and the light on the OBD sensor. The boat tends to stall when you put it in gear, but after a couple of times will run fine until you turn it off and restart, and again get a siren. I have not scheduled to have it for its spring tuneup yet, was just wondering if this is something I can possibly fix myself, or if it will require a mechanic. My boat was running beautifully prior to the battery going dead.
