The employees here are professional and always happy to explain anything you need them to. They have always been upfront about cost, and they are won't try to force you into work you don't need. People who are worried that they will get up sold on something they do not need should have no fear with this place. They do their best to get the work done quickly as not to leave you without your vehicle long. Obviously this varies based on what you are having done, but like the issue with price, they will let you know ahead of time so that you can plan accordingly. The longest I went was one week, but I was having a laundry list of stuff done to the F150. It is a family truck that sat for years without use. If issues arise during your cars stay they will inform you promptly. I have never left this place unsatisfied, and have made it a point to refer friends, family, and co-workers when they are having car troubles. Jordan M. Knoxville, TN
Carr's Auto is the worst! Called a day ahead of time and was told $75 ... read more Carr's Auto is the worst! Called a day ahead of time and was told $75 for a tune-up (I had the parts already) he said it would take an hour. Sounds great right? Well this is where the story takes a turn. Take it in to them in the morning like I said, and when I get there they said they made a mistake and said it would take a little longer than they initially thought. So now he tells me $128 labor. I was annoyed but agreed on that price and left my vehicle with them to get the plugs and wires done. 5 hours later I get a call, and I'm expecting them to say it's done, but instead the guy says he told me wrong and it's going to be $328!!! Said he only quotes me for wires at $128. So I told them I will take it elsewhere since other local shops quoted me $150 and said it would not take more than 2 hours MAX!!! Complete waste of time on my vacation, avoid the headache and take it somewhere else!

Went out of their way to help us by providing roadside assistance and trying to get us on our way. They even let us hookup to water and power and stay in the RV at their shop while they made the repairs (and fed us supper). After we were on the road and had more mechanical breakdowns, they coached us via phone until we made it to our destination. I highly recommend this family owned business. They took a true interest in our safety and travel plans. Thank you so much to all the staff at Vickers!!
