Yesterday I went to the S Lamar Jiffy Lube (a store I have patronized for over 10 years) to get an inspection. I was told the inspector was not in. I left. This morning I called to find out if the inspector was in and was told by a mechanic that he was and that he would be doing inspections all day. I thanked the mechanic and told him I'd be coming down in the afternoon. When I arrived about 3 o'clock I was told that there would be no more inspections today as the inspector was busy with other tasks. When I told the mechanic I had called first before coming down he looked at me and said nothing. I asked for the manager, got an assistant who informed me the district manager had instructed him to stop inspections. I asked for the district manager and was given the name Mark Rowberry 512-850-9373. I left a message asking for a return call. I haven't heard from him. It doesn't appear that they care about it. I will go elsewhere for my oil changes and inspections.

Ever since I moved to Austin for college this has been my go to place for any car problems. Their rates are very reasonable and yes to do provide FREE loaner cars. I highly recommend this place to anyone who owns a foreign vehicle. Clay the GM is very helpful and upfront with what your vehicle needs and what can be held off. Thanks again German Auto Center

They arrived AND repaired my vehicle within 45 minutes of my call. When you consider the cost of a tow truck, you actually come out ahead, and since they come to where you are, it barely puts a hitch in your day. Tommy was wonderful!
