They couldn't find anything wrong with a cylinder cutout test, nor with a power balance test. They wanted to pull the valve cover to inspect the valve train. They didn't find anything there either, but they wanted to pull the injectors and send them out to be checked. This is where it went bad. The cost to do that was $400 MORE than I could get a new set for. So I told them no let's do a compression test and if thats good lets do a set of new injectors instead. their price on the parts was MORE than double what I can get them for, and it tookthem a full day to tell me they don't have the adaptor for a Detroit series 60 for their gauge. then a day later they slipped and told me they don't have the a compression gauge. Now what garage that does engine work doesn't have a compression gauge?! so there's a couple lies right there. after arguing about the prices for injectors and being literally yelled at by some manager guy, I gave the go ahead to do the injectors. that was two days ago. they already had the valve cover off, which they charged $300 to remove. and there it sat, not being touched at all yesterday, even though it was promised to be done between 5pm and 9pm. So here it is noon 5 days later, and they say the injectors are in, but nothing else. no rockers, nothing. they charged $95 just to go get the injectors, and another $300 for some hazardous disposal fee. do yourself large favor and DO NOT go there. you won't save money, you won't save time, and if you're loaded you'll probably forfeit the load.

I did not think anything could be done for me OTR. My dispatcher called Americorp. I still don't know how that man got that hub off. He said he has a 20 ton puller. Cleaned it and polished it and lubed it and I was gone. I'm satisfied with their work and happy with how fast they got it done.

I spoke with Chuck their dispatcher and was told the tech would be thre in an hour and a half or less. LT the mechanic was here in 45 minutes. LT had me started and back on the road in 30 min. Most people won't make a comment unless its bad news. These guys know their stuff!
