I let you know that I had replaced the gas cap and was curious if there was anything associated with that which could cause the problem. You charged me 250 to replace a gas cap because you needed an hour of labor to get the car set up for testing. I just googled what the first thing to check is if your check engine light is on and it says to check the gas cap. I even asked you on the phone if there was anything I should check before bringing the car in. I’ve been coming to you consistently for the past ~8 years. I would expect better customer service.

But this recent experience was awful. I spent ~$1,300 fixing an issue, which they told me they fixed. I then trusted the fix and drove across the state to just break down from the same issue I went to them to fix, and in a very inconvenient location. Now I am spending money to get it towed, fixed at another shop, etc. What was the ~$1,300 for?
I’m very pleased with Northshore Automotive. It’s the only place I bri... read more I’m very pleased with Northshore Automotive. It’s the only place I bring my cars to for maintenance. Why? They do excellent work, they have reasonable prices, and they have excellent customer service. It's one of those things you just want to keep it for yourself, but I guess I have to share. I would not go anywhere else!
