If you were ever wondering how to quickly and effectively destroy your vehicle, you're in luck. We've come up with a list of shortcuts for you to take a perfectly functioning vehicle and ruin it.

1) Don't Ever Change Your Oil -
If you're trying to effectively destroy your car, don't change the oil, ever. If the oil level is low, don't even think about adding any. In fact, why are you even checking the oil to begin with?

2) Stop Worrying About Your Tires - Tire pressure, who needs it? Tire tread wear? Don't tread on me! Paying attention to the condition of your tires will keep you safe and your car properly maintained, and you're not doing that.

3) Ignore All Noises - Is there a rattling sound coming from the front right fender? Don't worry about it, just turn the stereo up and enjoy life. As long as that scraping sound isn't interfering with your afternoon, why worry about it?

4) Perform Complicated Repairs Yourself - You've never trained to be a mechanic and really have no clue what you're doing, time to fix your car's transmission! Better yet, there's no actual problem with the transmission but you can always go in and make some tweaks can't you? Throw caution to the wind on this one.

5) Never Check or Add Fluids - Let's be honest, if the Universe wanted you to regularly check the levels of your brake, transmission and other fluid, then you would have been born a mechanic. Besides, don't the fluids get full every time it rains?

6) Ignore All Warning Lights -
Did the "check engine" light come on when you were driving? Well what's the point of checking the engine, if there wasn't one there then the car wouldn't be moving, right? In fact let all the warning lights come on in the car, it's just like being in a nightclub.

7) Keep Driving If The Vehicle Is Overheating - When you're running on a treadmill at the gym and you start to get really hot, it means that you're getting a great workout. Same thing when your car starts overheating, just push through and keep on driving, burning more of the car's calories.

8) Never Change the Air Filter - Why bother changing your air filter? If the air that mother nature has generously provided is good enough for you, why isn't it good enough for your car. Just because the filter has turned black with dirt doesn't mean it doesn't work anymore, it just has more character now!
