I've had good luck taking my jeep here for servicing. The mechanics here were able to solve a problem that kept causing the engine light to constantly come on. I'd taken my jeep elsewhere in town and the problem was never resolved until I brought my car here. I would definitely recommend this shop. Staff is courteous, professional, and has kept my 15 year old vehicle running smoothly! I will definitely continue to have all work done on my car here at George's Sierra Shell. Nancy

These people have very different vibe than any other shop and I have been to many in my life. They don’t try to upsell you or use some cheep “time pressure” techniques. They honestly look at your car, give you their opinion and very fair price and let you decide what and when you want to fix. I never felt pressured into anything, unlike all other places. I stumbled accross these mechanics through my doughter’s acquaintance and thought to myself at first” another shop we will be testing for a few months untill we get tired of them selling us repairs we don’t need” but do far I have been here about 5 times for various things, I had a very pleasurable experience with both the owner and the young gentleman that works there. Recommend to every body who is tired of being hustled by a money hungry & commission driven people.

I have limited knowledge of cars, I was fearing the worst. Louis had "best in class" customer service, very honest and straight to the point . I really dreaded looking for new care for my 2002 car. I had always stuck with Honda servicing on a regular basis. Unfortunately it seemed to become a chore, with impersonal interest, raising prices, and some questionable recommendations for work to be done. My son is a master mechanic but does not live close by. I let him know what was going on and he found me the Perris Auto Repair Center. I cannot be happier with them, the brothers are all so welcoming and yet feel very professional. it is true, they do "care" at the care shop .mark is the most knowledgeable person I know when it relates to anything about any motor vehicle. I first brought in work truck's for the company I worked for, then my personal pickup, my chevy Tahoe was stolen and striped and his crew put it back together again as it was, mark and his wife rose to run a tight ship and really do care about the work and the customer .they really do back the work without question on the warranty. I have only the very best comments to give, you can trust mark without any concerns because he will have already taken care of any issue before it is a problem. Michael F.

My wife and I want to thank Darrin and his team for helping us save thousands of dollars from purchasing a vehicle from Valley Hi Toyota Scion. We drove from Las Vegas to purchase a vehicle when we came upon Big Apple Automotive. We asked Darrin if he could do an inspection of the vehicle prior to purchasing it. Although they were busy, Darrin had no problem looking at vehicle immediately. They discovered some very costly repairs and sensors that came up. We informed the dealership of the issues, but they did not want to hear about the problems. Due to their lack of integrity and customer service, we did not purchase the vehicle. Also, I discovered a nail in my tire and Darrin and his team fixed it at no charge. I appreciate the customer service Darrin gave us and would highly recommend their services for your automotive needs. Chuck B

Fast service and clean shop... recommend this shop as best in san bernardino area Issac Coronado

First let me say the African american manager I assume never greeted me. We had new tires and two alignments done and less then 6 months later the tire was half bald which obviously indicates the alignment was not done properly. As soon as my husband begin to question and ask about next steps we were immediately told to read our contract and we were basically "dumb" for thinking that should be pointed out. The manager said come back later and I'll do the rotation although you didn't read the contract over and over in an extremely patronizing manner. I have an 08 ml350 in good condition so if the work had been done right we would not need new tires less then 6 months later. More then that this gentleman is basically "yelling" at my husband as if he is not intelligent. My husband is an accountant of high intellect I then informed him not to contract me because we own a business and are aware of how contracts works. At the end of the day we do what is right for the customer not in a manner that demeans or patronized them. He begin to yell louder mock me say " I'm not dealing with you I assume because he did not want to be corrected by a women. This man was extremely unprofessional condescending. Funny thing is when the caucasian women went to get her car he placed her keys in her hands warmly and said have a beautiful holiday. But I did not even get a how are you today. Being in management for 17 years I have never personally experienced reverse racism. Guess there is a first time for everything. Please stay away from this place. If you can't please read your contract and you will be better served if your non black. Good luck and choose wisely.

On 12/20/11 I took my 2005 Nissan Maxima in for repair to the braking system. I was told upon inspection of my vehicle that the issue was warped rotors and bad pads on the front; the rear brakes were deemed to be in good working order with good pads. I was quoted a price for the work which I found acceptable and asked them to proceed with the work. The work was completed within the day and I paid for the work. The car needed some unrelated work which could not be done by this shop so I took it the following day to get those repairs done at another shop, the car was only driven home and to the shop for the motor work. I got the car back on 12/23/11 and noticed that the brakes were still shuddering when stopping. I called Bob & Al's on 12/26/11 after the holiday to make arrangements to get the brakes checked but I got a recording that they would be closed until 1/3/12. I contacted Bob & Al's on December 10th in person and I was asked to bring it later that week which I did 1/13/12. They kept it all day and said the front disks were warped again and that I was to blame for driving the car hard, I explained that I had barely driven the car and I tried to contact them on the 26th but they were closed. They turned the rotors, but when he took it for a road test the same issue was there. I was asked to bring it back for troubleshooting on 1/18/12 which I did. They stated that the issue was now the rear rotors that were very warped and they would have to be turned, which would cost me 75.00. I told them to proceed but was not happy. I got to their shop at 4:30pm and asked the Owner how this was missed the first time and second time? He said there was no way he could know that just by looking at the rear brakes. Then he got belligerent and said he was bothered by my questions and that if I thought he was cheating me I could go F*ck myself and that he did not need my F*cking business or my money. He threw my keys at me and told me to get the F*ck off his property. I was sh

What a sham!!!! This place could have killed my son! This shop came highly recommended from a close family friend! OMG the work was so bad! We did the tires on my sons first car and it was his first purchase for his new to him car!!! He decided to buy 4 new tires with an alignment! We made sure to align it because it was lowered and we wanted to make sure the tire wear was even! He happened to have a blow out last night! His tires are roughly a year and a half old or so at this point! He has put 8k miles on the tires in that time!!! When he changed his tire he asked me about the tire saying inside but on the outside of the tire! I looked at it when he got home and sure enough all 4 of his tires were installed backwards and have been spinning against the designed direction. This alone can cause the tires to peel off throwing the tread off of the wheel! When he took his car to A Plus today they refused to replace the warranty tires saying because the car is lowered they won’t warranty them, even if they installed them and aligned it while it was lowered! They told me he wasn’t rotating them and we have 2 times already he only has 8k on the tires!!! I brought it to their attention about them being installed backwards and they ignored me completely! Please stay away from this shop I am a shop owner, I would never ignore the safety of my customers or their families! As a shop owner it is my Pet peeve to knowingly screw someone over especially a young adult that doesn’t know any better! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Please don’t trust them this could have killed my son and to be ignored about it!
