This shop now operates under the name “Prestige” however they still ha... read more This shop now operates under the name “Prestige” however they still have signs bearing the name of Route 136 Auto Body. Should one decide to use the shop services this is a sign of things to come? The job to be done to my vehicle was relatively a simple. They had to change out and paint a rear bumper and take care of minor dings the car had- offered by Mr Robert Sherman as perk? Overall, spanning a period of 5 months it took 5 weeks for the job to be completed. The first time the job took 3 ½ weeks. The work was so pitiful Mr Sherman agreed to do the job over but since he never returned calls to reschedule the work the insurance became involved because the shop billed for parts they never changed (insurance fraud). Then it took another week and a half to do an acceptable job- still lines don’t match up parts missing. Since I elected the Shop I incurred 800.00$ in overage of rental fees. There is no Prestige in this Shop of horrors.

They treat their customers like family and will go out of their way to fix your problem and get you back on the road. I would, and do, recommend Tilden to all my friends and hope they are fortunate enough to try them and benefit from their fine service. See Tom, Pat or the Patriarch Joe and tell them Dick sent you!
