After damaging my lower unit, prop shaft, prop and skeg due to a rock strike, I did an online search for Mercury repair shops. Although there were several shops closer to me, the reviews for Gulf Coast Marine Service in Hommosassa, FL led me there. The reviews were spot on, everyone at this shop are good people. They kept me and my insurance adjuster informed every step of the way. They did great work and I'm back on the water! I would highly recommend this shop to take care of your Mercury! I would not recommend anyone take their boat to this place as it appears to be a Bait AND Switch operation. I took my boat there for repairs they told me on the phone if I dropped it off on Friday I would have it back by the following Tuesday at the latest. Dropped it off the service rep said he would call me next week..DID NOT HAPPEN.. So I waited NO CALL..the Friday after I dropped the boat off I called...oh we are 3 to 4 weeks out he tells me...of course the service guy claims I would never tell anyone we would have your boat ready that soon next week as we are 3 - 4 weeks out. WELL if you had told me the truth I would have NEVER left my boat THERE. We are buying a new boat in January it will be Suzuki motor BUT I would never recommend this place to anyone. I begin thinking if they are being dishonest on the phone in an effort to get my boat there then I CAN NOT TRUST them to work on my boat especially after reading where they did not change the plugs when they did a 300 hour tune up on customer's boat. So today I went and picked up my boat after a month of not hearing one word and calling repeatedly..DON'T BUY FROM THIS PLACE OR TAKE YOUR BOAT IN FOR REPAIRS..read the reviews the positive ones are probably employees or something....BAD NEWS!! Read the reviews on Yelp and take into account this posting..if you decide to do business with this group don't say you were not WARNED!!

He did a very good job on the outside and as well as the inside. I bought my used Honda from the Honda dealership and I can tell you that it looks way better than the day I took my car home from the dealership! I will definitely come back for any future detailing needs and I recommend him to all of my friends,relatives and any people that ask me for a car detail guy.
