The staff was nice, I went in with a suspected alternator issue but it was a bad battery terminal. It ended up being $500 for a battery replacement and one terminal. I understand the battery is $250 maybe but 129 for labor on a 15-20 minute activity seemed steep, especially since advanced ( and other retailers) would have put the battery in for free. And terminal replacement work is usually 25-50$

These guys are straight shooters that you can really trust. Willie and his crew fixed my GMC 1500 Denali when the dealership couldn’t get parts….I’m sure you’ve heard the excuses Covid this and Covid that. Well Willie doesn’t make excuses, he and his crew gets it done! Trust them before you trust a dealership!

They changed the timing belt water pump the belts were bad they reinstalled them never called me I have multiple vehicles I'm very disappointed and will not return

I finally found a good mechanic in Tampa! Since I've been in, this business has bent over backwards to help me get my AC running. I've never recommended a mechanic before, because I couldn't. Do not waste your time and get scammed by this company. A year ago my A/c unit was repaired at this shop. After it stopped working again I called and was told to bring it in so they could take a look at it. They called and let me know what the issue and cost of repair would be . I stated that I did not have another $550 dollars until I got paid to get the repair done until next week. I went to pick up my vehicle and was told that I am being charged $109 dollars for a "diagnostic fee" that with out paying I would not be able to get my car back. At no point with my initial conversation, drop off or being told the diagnostic was I told that there would be a fee. When questioned about this they stated its a new policy that doesn't have to be disclosed. That is unbelievable to me , to my understanding no work or cost can be charged without being approved through the client and at no point was that discussed or even suggested. Do not trust this business.

Nice guys and they mean well. If you are interested in a top notch professional shop keep looking. This is an old school garage and mechanic that struggles to get the repair completely done the first time you bring your vehicle in. Fully expect not to have your vehicle ready when promised and to get it back dirty inside and out. They will make the repair work eventually but expect to waste a lot of your time in the process.

After being told by a local dealership that my car needed hundreds of dollars of work to include brakes and all fluids , I took my car to Gunder's and was enlightened to the fact that I did not need any of that at all. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and have recommended them to friends that have also had great results. Thankful for an honest place to have my car taken care of on every level.

This company is a scam. Paid for a service and warranty in which they didn't complete either. Paid for a rebuild and only got parts replaced. Tony told me they were rebuilding my cvt transmission when in reality all they did was replace the valve body and cones. SIX months later it went out again they had it for two and a half months and it still wasn't fixed. Had to have it towed to a reputable company to have it fixed right which cost me more money on top of what I paid them to do in the first place
