After it stopped working again I called and was told to bring it in so they could take a look at it. They called and let me know what the issue and cost of repair would be . I stated that I did not have another $550 dollars until I got paid to get the repair done until next week. I went to pick up my vehicle and was told that I am being charged $109 dollars for a "diagnostic fee" that with out paying I would not be able to get my car back. At no point with my initial conversation, drop off or being told the diagnostic was I told that there would be a fee. When questioned about this they stated its a new policy that doesn't have to be disclosed. That is unbelievable to me , to my understanding no work or cost can be charged without being approved through the client and at no point was that discussed or even suggested. Do not trust this business.

I had to pay "all German Motorworks" $260 only to tell me my repairs were going to be $3742.00. A great friend recommended Metrix, I explained my situation to Harry and he not only gave me a free estimate but only charged me $1710.00!!!! He is an AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HONEST, and thorough mechanic! THANKS AGAIN HARRY!!!!
Mike McCoy did a great job repairing my vehicle after I stuck an objec... read more Mike McCoy did a great job repairing my vehicle after I stuck an object on the interstate while passing through Ocala. McCoy's was recommended by my insurance company and all of the reviews were positive. Now I know why. Mike was thorough and explained everything he was doing for the repair and the cost was reasonable. There was no attempt to upsell and, although I had not planned on having my brakes repaired during my unexpected visit, Mike took the time to show me how worn my brakes were. If you need any service in Ocala whether you live there or are passing through, McCoy's Auto Clinic is the place to take your vehicle.
