Transmission repair service near Morris, IL

I brought my car for an evap code. When I came in I was told I owed $125.00 for diagnosing a cat code. I have been aware for over a year that I needed a cat. When I reminded him that I brought the car in for the evap code, not the PO420 code. he said that if the cat code shows up that he HAD to a diagnostic on it. What?? I always had a good relationship with the Rockdale shop, but after this visit I feel cheated . Very unhappy!

Ongoing problem for 9 years. Dealer repaired emissions error and check engine light returned in two weeks with same problem. AACCEL repaired the emissions, and now I can fuel the car in less than 15 minutes and pass the Will County emissions testing.

Needed a transfer case replaced. They were the only shop that would attempt to see if they could fix / replace due to the car being a 2002. The work took several weeks to complete. Took the car home and found some issues that were overlooked. Took the car back and they fixed the main issue no charge . Had an additional matter that was not initially covered but I worked with the owner Stephen and he made things right. The vehicle is now fixed and working properly.

Would not take their opinion on any recommended services. Get a second opinion elsewhere. I brought my car in and was told it was one thing wrong and they would fix the problem. Mind you I told the guy in the beginning “Hey I’m in the process of searching for a new car if this is the minor issue I’ll take care of it. So they take my car in. Next day get a call whatever work they said would take care of was finished but that didn’t solve it. So I’m like ok go ahead fix it! Next day get another call “Hey works finished but it’s still not resolved it’s your transmission but it’s still drivable. So I come in to get my car, pay for the service because I’m tired of the BS. I Drive off the lot my car is still horrible. Engine light is on! Had I have known from the so called diagnostic test and whatever other test that was performed that it was transmission I would’ve gotten a brand new car instead of paying over $1,400 worth of wasting my time. I wouldn’t recommend this place if it was the last on earth. TAKE MY WORD.

This is by far the worst company I have ever come across. They are incompetent, ignorant, thieves. They now have $1400 dollars of ours and our truck is still not fixed. They gave it back to me three times, each time never fixing the problem. On the fourth try they actually thought they were going to get some more money out of me. After paying $1400 for them to tear apart a trans case that wasn't necessary they expected me to pay for the correct part. The total cost to repair my truck in reality should have been well under $300 including parts. They took $1400 and had my car for three weeks, only to have nothing repaired at all. I honestly don't know how people like this sleep at night. I would be more than happy to get in on a class action law suit with anyone who is interested. This guy needs to be stopped. If you have had a successful claim with the BBB please let me know. That will be my next step. Pass the word on before they rob one of your friends or family members. Was in a major accident, had to have the right side of my truck as well as the bed replaced and painted. Looks awesome and drives great. The worked with the insurance company and got me back on the road.

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I drive a 20 yr. old car, because I can't afford a better one. These wonderful businessmen keep it on the road for a fair price. They don't try to sell me stuff I don't need. Hands down, this is the most honest business I've ever seen. These guys are the kind of local business that we all need to support! Best auto shop. Ever!
