My first visit to Ed's was wonderful. They quoted fair prices and did great work. I continued to go for a few other repairs until a few male friends told me I was paying way too high a price for repairs. I decided to shop around. I was quoted a price of $650 for a new timing belt when the dealer told me $500. Of course I went to the dealer and got a new car to drive to boot while my car was being fixed. I called Ed's again for a quote for a new oil pan... I was quoted a price that was $120 higher than I ended up being charged elsewhere. When I mentioned this to the assistant manager he got defensive and said, "Yeah. But were they going to put in all the new parts I was going to?" I gave them a glowing review on their website and wish it could be erased as, now, I think I was given high prices because I was female. Beware. Check around before going here.
