They are helpful in letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and what could wait until the next service. The prices are not as high as a dealer but also not as low as say a side lot garage. I do feel confident that they are doing a good job and trust their opinion.

API is a great alternative. The people who work at API are familiar with Mercedes cars, have the right tools to service them, and are able to get the right parts. Most importantly, they are friendly and make their customers feel valued. I plan to continue taking my car to API for future service needs!

The owner told me I needed a new catalytic converter after reading the code on the computer that they hooked up to my car. I need my car, so I told them to fix it, even though it cost me close to $800. A few weeks later, my engine light came on again. When I took it back to the shop, they told me that they would need to keep the car for at least a week, and that it would be costly. I decided at that point to take the car to someone else. A friend recommended Vince’s Motors on East Monument Street. When the same catalytic code came up, they were able to pin point the problem as a $3 hose that needed to be replaced. The $800 that I spent on a repair that I didn’t need could have been used to help pay for my son’s college expenses. I can trust Vince’s, and I am now a very loyal customer!
