My car was making a rattling noise when I started it. They did an oil change and said that fixed the issue. Two days later it started doing it again. The shop is always too busy to diagnose and fix problems.If it’s not a basic or straight forward issue they can’t handle it.

Great people/great atmosphere. I had my car worked on here and they accommodated me with a loaner vehicle. Also had a quick and accurate estimate, reasonable prices, and performed the services. My car has been running great and I will surely be returning to them for future business.

They have started to much overcharge for all services. Recently i had a oil change service and inspection and they changed cabin filter and charged ke $200. Even dealer would have done for much much less than them.

I visited IMA Motorwerke for a Prepurchase Vehicle Inspection. There were a bunch of fault codes that could not be figured out as well as a vibration for a previous inspection. While I did receive a report with comments and recommended work, it did not get to the heart of what I originally requested. When I asked and followed up, nothing additional was found. It was not until I took the vehicle for an inspection following vehicle purchase that I learned of a host of issues that were not previously identified. There was an exhaust leak, the vibration at the rear of the vehicle was a much larger issue requiring additional diagnosis, the headlight seals were busted, and the remaining fault codes rendered parts of the vehicle inoperable. Had I known the majority of these issues beforehand, I would not have purchased the vehicle. It is disappointing that I was charged $332.80 for the comments and recommendations that I received, and the saving grace for the issues that allowed me to get from under the purchase from another mechanic’s shop for free.

I used to love going to this repair shop; the employees were knowledgeable and so friendly! They recently changed ownership and staff, but I thought I would give them a try since the location is so convenient, so I took my car in for a routine oil change. The mechanic gave me a list of about $1,400 worth of other issues he found—there was a leak in the oil pan (which I had noticed but thought it was minor) and the check engine light wouldn’t turn off (an issue that I told him the car dealership itself couldn’t fix and said wasn’t really a problem), among other things. I didn’t think anything was very urgent, but the district manager of the shop guaranteed the repairs for at least a year, so I told them to go ahead. One week later, the oil leak had gotten worse and the check engine light was back on. I tried to get in touch with the district manager, but after repeated calls and leaving my number at the desk, I still didn’t hear back. I took my car back to be repaired again. When I picked it up the second time, my car made a strange rattling noise when I accelerated. I went right back to the shop and the mechanic worked on it for half an hour and offered me a quick test drive to let me check if it was okay. I tried to ask what he thought had happened, he said we should make sure it was fixed, then he’d explain. So I drove around for about ten minutes and went back to get an explanation on what had happened, but I found that the mechanic and the cashier had locked up for the night and gone home. Weeks later, the leak still hasn’t been fixed and I have yet to hear back from the distract manager about his false promises. I have wasted entirely too much time and money at this shop. Nothing will convince me to return, and I recommend you save yourself the frustration and find another shop.

I have now had my BMW Series 3 for a month - which I purchased from B & M Motors. I took my car in to B & M to have some added things done after the sale. They did a fantastic job and provided GREAT after-sale support!! I highly endorse B & M and WILL do business with them again in the future!!GregI had very rigid requirements for the car that I was looking for as well as the financing limits that I had set. I spent a good deal of time speaking to many other major auto new and pre-owned car dealers but none could meet both of my requirements. I then went to B&M and worked closely with Tony. Over the space of a week or so, Tony and B&M were able to meet all of my strict requirements, offered me the car that I really wanted (a BMW 3 Series) AND were able to work out my financing to my full satisfaction. Contacted Drake and it was very professional and they answered all the questions in a correct manner. All my conversations was with the owner Carl and I got the best quote. I have a 2007 Prius, first I took my car to Manassas Monroe and was quoted shy of $700 for brake pads and rotors. Next I price the parts online which can be purchase for shy of $150.00. Next I called the deal and was quoted at $534.00. Next I called Drake's and talked to Carl, and was given the price of $269.00 plus tax and shop fees which came out to $288.00. He was honest upfront and did show integrity. Yes I would use them again and will recommend to family and friends. By the way driving the car after the brake job felt like a job well done. No squeak, no pulling no jerky stops, just smooth breaking the way it should be. By the way this is my first time ever posting a review for anyone. This is how highly I thought of doing business at Drake's. Mike R

Overall a great place to go. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. That said, they WILL up-charge you signifcantly to change your engine and cabin air filter. The guy said that to change a cabin air filter, it takes 30 minutes to access the filter itself, thus necessitating a charge of $50 for parts and labor. I knew that was patently false, as it can be easily accessed on my vehicle (2013 Accord) through the glove compartment, which unhinges without any tools. I bought the same cabin air filter from NAPA auto parts for $15 and installed it myself. Essentially the same speech was given for the engine air filter, and I did the same thing. BLUF: Know about how much something should cost and how easy the job is to do it.

Dmitry and Michael are the people I normally deal with on regular basis. When another mechanic told me I needed a lot of work done on my car, they told me that I only needed new tires (and I do, that's true). I have been going to them for over 10 years, and I have also recommended their services to my friends. When my friend's car broke down, one shop quoted her to change the waterpump and timing belt over $1000, and Dmitry fixed it for a lot less.

I have taken several BMWs to Dan over the past 10 years. He is the most honest engineer you will ever find. His prices are reasonable and the quality of work is excellent. Don't bother going to the dealership unless you need a rental car and a cappuccino.
