Seriously dissatisfied with the service and quality of work we received from Dr. Vinyl. Although Karen and the lady that works in the office (Mia??) are extremely nice, that did not make up for the disaster of a job their "guys" did on our boat. Our boat is very nice and clean. We dropped it off and were told that they would be able to repair the few tears and rust stains in the vinyl in one week (in time for our vacation). They added that we would need to replace both sides and the dashboards which was fine with us. When we called to check the status of the boat on Thursday, we were told that they had not even begun the project (DUE FRIDAY). One of the service guys even yelled and hung up on us when we said that we would be willing to pick it up and drop it back off after our vacation to give them more time. After calling back, we were assured by the ladies that work there that it WOULD be done in time and be nicely done (although we were rightfully worried that they would be doing this whole job in one day). Clearly, it was more than they could handle because when we picked our boat up, it was in TERRIBLE shape. There was glue EVERYWHERE, all over the carpet and vinyl, even marker outlining random spots all over???, holes that weren't there before, terrible patch jobs, a completely detached dashboard, peeling paint over the rust stains, vinyl that ended before the back of the boat, razors left out, dirty carpet/boat in general, and they even broke the latch on the back of the boat to the engine compartment completely (without telling us). It was unbelievable. After taking 67 pictures of the damage, we brought it back to show the owner after our vacation. SHE was even appalled. We let them re-do it which took 3 weeks (wouldn't you think they would have told us they needed more time to begin with...?). The second time around, it was better but still not perfect. Clearly, they put another hole in the vinyl (evidenced by a terrible patch job) and the daSeriously dissatisfied with the service and quality of work we received from Dr. Vinyl.
