The guys at Benchmark Auto want to fix your car. Plain and simple. They are hard working, honest and very reasonable. Let's be honest, it's hard to find a mechanic who you can trust and is going to do a good job. I've had my share of bad experiences. But these guys know their stuff and really want to do a good job.

Don’t go to Epic. They are not fair!!!! Admitted installing the wrong part but charged me labor again to install the correct part and no credit for the wrong part. Even though I expressed my disappointment to the owner I had no choice to pay. First bill of $479 and 2nd bill of $325 +/-

Went in with a nail in my tire. Because of where the nail was, I had to get a used tire from Doug for $30.00. A few miles down the road my low air pressure light came on. Went back and said we just didn't put enough air in the tire. Went to work. On the way home that same day, the air pressure light came on again. They were closed. Next morning the tire was completely flat. Called Doug. The sent some to put air in the tire so I could get to them (less than a mile). When he examined it he told me that I had gotten an nail in it and he would not give me my money back, he didn't show me a nail, by the way. He would plug it for me. I explained to him the I was going out of town and was not comfortable with the tire. He said I am not giving you your money back but I won't charge you for going to put the air in your tire "I will just eat that lost". He then turned and walked away. I paid $30 for a tire that took me less than 50 miles.

The Manager was nice and to the point. My truck was fixed in a couple days and it runs great!!!

As you can tell from the headline, I consider my car my baby. It is an old girl, but I love it. My 2001 Chevy Malibu just wasn't running right. She was really showing her age. I took it a few places in Goldsboro, but no one could seem to figure out what was wrong. Either that or they didn't want to mess with it. I saw a flyer for AutoStar and decided to take one last shot before I had to bite the bullet and trade her in. I'm really glad I did because the people at AutoStar were great! Apparently I had some sort of electrical issue that was causing all the problems. Jesse checked it out for me and gave me an estimate the same afternoon. Not only were they able to keep me in my car, but they didn't break the bank either! Go see them today! I'm will not be going anywhere else for any of my car needs!
