I took my older vehicle here for a tune up. The front counter person made me uncomfortable from the start by being so promising of how well they will perform the job, as he stated the price. Normally, mechanics would like to take a look first. I was aware of a humming noise coming from the air filter section of the engine, but thought it would be corrected during the tune up. Once I was given a job status call with recommended services, the noise was not mentioned. But at pick up time, the counter person brings up the noise and a quick fix deal if I bring it back. (Half Labor Charge). I took it back. At pick up, he charged $125.00 for 1 hour labor which would be $250.00 an hour. I just paid! Over the next 2 days, the engine was stalling, riving up on it's own and not idling properly, so I took it back. Automatically, he started talking of more charges. When I mentioned the overpayment I had already paid, he stated that I'm the one who agreed to pay it. I still have to get their work corrected.

Carl had my vehicle for over a year. I paid up front $2500 back in February 2016. I contacted Carl several times over the course of a year and each time there were several excuses as to why the vehicle had still not been repaired. After taking him to court and several non kept promises to return either my vehicle or the money that I paid up front we have now reached the two year anniversary since I handed over possession of my vehicle. The court sentenced Mr. Carl to return my funds back as well as the car back in July 2017 and he has avoided all phones calls since this date. This has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop. PLEASE GO ON YELP FOR TWO RECENTLY POSTED REVIEWS WITH THE SAME TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

STAY AWAY!!!! Was going to get brakes done but he offered to install brakes from a totally different make and model that "should work fine" Wanted money up front and there is no way those parts would fit or even bolt up to the car.

We call 30+ boat repair shops in the area to get our boat fixed in time for Memorial Day weekend and Grizzard was BY FAR the most responsive and then were the only ones that went out of their way to get us a quote, get us the parts that we needed and ensured that we were taken care of. Carlton was in constant communication with us, gave us an option to spend less money on a new propeller, and offered impeccable customer service. This shop was awsome. Very fairly priced staff was awsome. My brakes became super soft and going to the floor and I called they were quick to get me in showed me what was wrong gave me a fair price and then took me home so I could get my kid off the school bus. The owner was super helpful and I was amazed at how professional and courteous everyone in the shop was. This is now my shop for all my repairs in the future I will never go anywhere else. Even offer a military discount for active and retired. Super job guys customer for life

While on vacation in Sandbridge, we developed car trouble, the cooling fan clutch on our car needed replaced. I was directed to Pungo Service Center by an employee at the realty company that we were renting a vacation house from. I arrived at the garage on a Thursday afternoon (6/13/2013), I was leaving on Saturday, it was quite a bind to be in when on vacation and not familiar with the area. The owner of the garage, Buddy, told me that he could fix my car by noon the following day. Not only was it repaired when he said it would be, but it was done at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Pungo Service Center to anyone that needs a car repair in the Sandbridge area. Its nice to know that there are reliable, honest mechanics that will not take advantage of the out-of-towners. Again, thanks to Buddy and Pungo Service Center for taking good care of us.
