5 starI was in the Lake Placid area on a short vacation, staying in the town of Jay. While in Jay, we had issues with a front ball joint, and the car was not able to be driven. This was late on a Saturday afternoon. I called several garages, and no one was able to help us out. I called Central Garage, and Jay calmly assured me he would come out and tow the vehicle to the garage that day, and would have it fixed Monday. I was also very concerned because I had two rather expensive kayaks on top of the car. I called at 10 AM Monday morning, and it was fixed. The cost for the towing and repair was FAR below what we had expected. The service, communication, and professionalism were unprecedented, and I wish these guys lived in my hometown. Today I took my 7-year old work truck to Elevated Shine in anticipation of trading it in soon. The results were beyond my expectations -- Nick removed dozens of tiny rust spots, got the "swirls" out of the paint and even shined up the nearly black exhaust tip.
