I have been using these mechanics for years. They provide honest service at a reasonable price. They have kept my 2006 Cobalt SS1, with 275,000 miles going for the last few years until I can replace it. There are always there for me when the cars I drive break down.

I took my wifes vehicle in because of engine trouble. He took it apart and tells me its contaminated gas. Well since he pulled all of the gas out of the vehicle insurance wont cover it. He showed me samples of gas. I took a sample of the same gas and let it sit out to replicate what he showed me and it nothing happened. He then said he found the problem fixed everything. He replaced the fuel rail, injectors, the valve that was causing the misfire, and a broken timing chain guide. He went to take it for a test drive and the motor blew. so I was $4k into this and he couldn't even give me a running vehicle in return. on top of that it had a small vibration coming from the center of the vehicle and proceeded to tell me it was mud in the wheel wells. I knew that wasn't the issue. Come to find out it was coming from the transfer case. If you take your vehicle to this guy your wasting your time and money. He doesn't know what hes doing.

You would be better going to a dealer, youll spend the same amount of money and get the problem "fixed". Great guy but back yard mechanic, no diagnostic skill. Hourly wage is either $65 or $75 dont remember. Dont have nys inspection lic.

I used to love this shop and thought they did a good job. But I no longer think that, told them so and am (sadly)leaving very negative feedback for this Webster group. I no longer take my car there and do not recommend the place. I left my car for routine maintenance and to have a small oil leak checked out. Since I did not need the vehicle, I told them I would leave it for two days, to give the mechanics there plenty of time to figure out the oil problem. When I came after two days to pick the car up, I learned that they had never bothered to deal with the small oil leak issue. They had done the other work that was quick and easy to do and for a very steep price. As I told them at the time, I don't mind paying a premium price for premium service. Given that they knew up front what I needed and that I gave them all the time in the world to do it, getting scalped in pricing and having them not do one of the key things I needed was not acceptable. I took my vehicle to a small shop and they readily found my oil leak problem, proving that the staff of Goodyear had not even tried. I would go elsewhere.
