Transmission repair service near Euclid, OH

They promised a free evaluation via a video on the Google page presented by the president of the company! They lied!! They charged me $200 to look at two simple concerns with the promise that IF they found the problem they would put the evaluation fee towards the repair. Another lie! Typical bait and switch move. Promise from three different employees. Well guess what? They couldn’t find anything wrong. So now I still have the issues with $200 less taken by this garage. I emailed them twice showing them the video clearly stating that the evaluation was promised as a complimentary inspection. They ghosted me and refuse to refund my money and refused to honor the video!! I wonder if they’ll take it down after this is submitted. I want a refund and I want the promise in the video by the president to be honored!!

This service was incredible! The mechanic was timely, knowledgeable, and professional. I had my oil changed and break pads/rotors replaced without leaving my house... and for cheaper than your standard shops. My favorite part? I wasn't being upsold on air filters and fluids! Powertrain Automotive was established June 11, 2007. This family owned and operated repair facility is located at 28910 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe, Ohio. After twenty three years in the same location, retiring owner Steve Combaj sold his repair facility known as Universal Mechanic to lead technician David Kozlowski. It was then that the name was changed and Powertrain Automotive was born. David is an ASE Certified Technician with over twenty years experience in the mechanical repair field. It took years of planning and a lot of hard work to make this automotive repair facility a reality. Better yet there is a lot more to come! Our biggest goals are turning out a quality repair job as well as customer satisfaction.

The trouble shooting and eventual isolation of the problem was excellent. Now I know where to go to receive resolution of a part that's still under warranty at another facility.

This guy Bruce the owner is a scam artist I took my car there to be repaired because it wasn’t running right he charge me 400 Dollars to repair rebuild the carburetor apparently that wasn’t it when he told me my car was running fine I came and it wouldn’t start we went back-and-forth with this for a couple weeks the same thing he would not return my money at all and the last time I pick my car up and brought it home it will not start as of To this day He will not refund my money or anything mechanics was really nice it’s a parent he don’t care about his customers nor his staff My car is in the garage and won’t start

I have always had excellent service form C&T. They are on time and competitive is costs. There is a reason they have been around so long.

These guys are very good. I moved into the neighborhood in 2016. My brakes went bad quick and I did not want to risk driving far. As a broke college student at the time, I was hesitant to get my car repaired at a gas station, but.... they were wonderful! Priced very competitively and quick! I went back when my ball joints went out, again, very competitively priced! My son inherited this car I speak of in 2018 and insists on using them from oil changes to repairs. Thanks guys for not breaking my bank over the last few years! Keep up the great work!

I got a flat on a Saturday morning on my way out of Cleveland and back to Rhode Island. The folks at Terrys took care of me and had me in a new set of tires and back on the road in 90 minutes. Very professional. Didn't try to sell me anything i didn't ask for. Informed me of anything they thought I should know about and had more than reasonable pricing. Excellent marks all around. As I'm sure most people have taken their vehicles to a shop to have a repair performed only to find it wasn't fixed properly, or was charged too much etc. And then the next time you have a problem you take it to another repair shop and so on. It was wonderful to have Mike and Suburban Car & Truck referred to me. We have been using Suburban for 7 years now, sending our 5 family cars and our 4 business "fleet" vehicles. As usual, I get the best service at Plain Brothers. I travel 26 miles round trip to go to them as they are trustworthy, fair, and give it to you straight. The waiting time passes quickly with other customers and Danielle contributing to the conversation...for a few minutes, it's like you have just met up with some friends. If you need automotive work-extensive or minor, GO THERE! You won't be sorry.

I had my car in several times over the years for different maintenance services. Each time I was impressed with the fast and professional work that was done. Todd who is the owner would personally look over all work done and explain to me what was done and what may be needed in the future. There were never any pressure sales and their prices are very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Transmission Pros for all your car needs and will continue to do business with them in the future.

i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THE SERVICE PERFORMED ON MY TRUCK WAS THE WORST. I BROUGHT MY TRUCK IN FOR REPAIRS. IT TOOK THEM MORE THAN THE ALLOTTED TIME TO FIX MY VEHICLE. LONG STORY SHORT, MY VEHICLE BROKE DOWN AGAIN FOR THE SAME PROBLEM I HAD THEM FIX. THEY TOLD ME DON'T WORRY CAUSE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY. THEY FIXED IT THEN IT BROKE DOWN 2 DAYS LATER FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS TIME WHEN I TOOK IT BACK THEY EXPRESSED THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THEM TO FIX IT AGAIN. SO I GUESS I PAID THEM FOR NOTHING BECAUSE I HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER MECHANICS SHOP TO FIX MY TRUCK. THE MECHANIC AT THE NEW SHOP SHOWED ME THE PROBLEM AND HOW CITYWIDE TRANSMISSION HAD ONLY PUT 2 OF 6 SCREWS IN. OF COURSE IT WOULDN'T LAST CAUSE ONLY 2 SCREWS WERE PRESENT. SO IN ALL I WAS TRYING TO BE SCAMMED TO PAY MORE MONEY. DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO CITYWIDE TRANSMISSION OR YOU WILL BE SORRY.
