Rough idle and stalling : 2003 Dodge Dakota

Truck Model: 2003 Dodge Dakota
Location: Denton, TX Submitted on October 13, 2013

a
Denton, TX

The check engine light comes and goes. The truck idles roughly and lately it as been stalling out. I've been putting medium grade gasoline in the vehicle and I've also used fueled additives that are supposed to help with higher mileage vehicles. The check engine light usually goes off shortly after filling up and putting in the additives.

Many parts stores like autozone and pepboys will put the machine on for free and get you the code numbers.

Maybe something is dirty like a fuel injector the
First step will be to get the code numbers to see what to look at.
