I found Beachside which is near the airport. The folks there are unbelievably nice and polite. Problem discovered was fixable in about an hour and I was on my way. While waiting, I heard many conversations between customers and staff. All were very positive. One couple from Canada had a serious issue. After diagnostic test, they were told to bring car back tomorrow to leave all day and they would get a loaner car. There was no charge for diagnostic test. Customer was amazed at this. (I was too.) This place is the biggest rip off I've ever experienced.Our alternator... read more This place is the biggest rip off I've ever experienced.Our alternator light came on and this was the closest repair place to I-95 on our return trip back to Tampa.They charged $35.00 to check the charging system which took them less than 5 min.Most reputable auto parts stores and garages do this service as a courtesy. We got less than 5 miles away after getting back on I-95 and our veichle died. Guess what,bad alternator.I called the manager who had no sympathy or explanation. I have seen places like this in the movies that prey on people that are having problems. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and stay clear of this place.
