So I greed to have them fix it. Then Stan called claiming the water pump was bad and it is easier to replace the timing belt at this time so I agreed. While they changed the timing belt they mistimed the engine and destroyed it. They bought a replacement engine a “ salvaged” long block. No telling how many mile is on it! I asked that they put the parts I paid for on the salvaged engine. Almost ONE month later, 12-16-19 after repeated calls made by me I was able to pick up my car. I presented the rental car bill and Stan, who is a lair and a cheat said the owner will send me a check, but my car broke after 10 minutes of driving. They tried to claimed it was the exhaust not the engine but eventually cleared the problem. I asked Stan who is a lair and a cheat, if the new parts are on my car and he said no, but I’m going to warranty it for 3yrs 36k miles prorated. Next morning the engine light came on so I took it to the dealer it was there for 3 days while repairing the wiring and sensors that weren’t wired correctly and install missing bolts on the engine! To date my car has still overheated 2X I have exhaust fumes in the cab and most importantly I have not been reimbursed for the rental car and don’t have the parts I paid for.

My gas cap was fully connected to my car before I arrived. He broke it and was rude and unprofessional. Horrible, horrible service! Is it unreasonable to expect your car to leave inspection in the same condition that it entered inspection? Do not get your car inspected here because when they damage your car they will not take responsibility!

Later that same day at approximately 5:45 I received a phone call from a staff member who identified himself as Mike. I gave me a verbal account of the issues based on the diagnostic test and quoted a price for the test and repairs, $2323. I told him that was high and asked what was most necessary which he replied valve cover and gasket. I told him to go ahead with the valve cover repair and wait on the others until further notice. The called ended at 5:56 pm. Texas-Garman Autohaus closes at 6:00 pm. At between 6:30 and 10:00 pm I call Texas German Autohaus and left a several messages for Mike and several in the general mailbox to PLEASE DO NOT PERFORM ANY REPAIRS ON MY CAR. I again called the shop at 03/03/2016 6:00 am to 10:00 am and left several voicemails two urgent for Mike and in the general mail box to NOT PERFORM ANY REPAIRS. The shop opens at 7:00 am. Approximately 10:30 I spoke with a staff member from the front office who said that the repairs had been started on my car as of last night. When I got to the shop my car was not in the repair bay or visible from the front lot. Mike came to me and said that I approved repairs and he started working on my car 03/02/2016. I told him that could not be because the shop closed at 6pm and I got off the phone with him a few minutes to closing. I asked for my car. He left for about 30 to 35 min. and said you approved repairs so we worked on your car. I told him that I cancelled that approval before he started working on my car. He left and stayed gone for 45 mins. My car still not in the repair bay or pulled to the front. I walked past the repair bay to behind the building to find my car being repaired. Staff members tried to get me to leave the area but I would not. I requested my car. I was informed that I had to pay $665.48. I paid the bill because I needed my car back. I quoted Engine Belt and labor would be $490.00 in addition to not approving the repair.
