Took my Mazda 5 in for a diagnostic because 2 different Mazda dealers had NOT been able to follow the guide for the known issues for a Mazda 5 listed online. Was told I needed a new transmission and it would be cheaper to trade it in (this was in the summer) waited for school to start again so my daughters auto tech class could look at it. Long story short a transmission control module later (plug and play device) changed by under age HS students and my car runs PERFECTLY. It was mis-diagnosed by these mechanics with yrs of experience. If I could rate less than 1 start I would because I am out the money for the diagnostic fee plus the time I had to wait for school to start again.

My fan broke off into my radiator!! They sent a tow to pick up my vehicle and searched for the entire assembly kit and I had my vehicle in a week! The guys are respectful and courteous. They also have a salvage vehicle lot where you can pick your own used parts, making your repair cost you less! There are also customer vehicles for sale so you can shop for another vehicle! It's really cool to have the convenience of a one-stop shop!! Thanks, guys!

He has good transmissions at a fair price. I searched the internet for 3 days before I found Robert. He answered his phone himself and was able to answer all my questions and work within my budget. Awesome place to go to recommend everyone to go u will not have to worry about getting burnt its beats dealership prices and warranty comes with the work they do ;0) I had trouble with my chevy truck and they fixed it for me that same day ... also you will not have to worry if they are lying about what the problems are with your vehicle because they have been around for too many years and have enough customers to keep them in business because of the quality work they door!! their not like other places trying to squeeze every dollar out of you just in case you do not come back..

All I can say is what a rip off. They charged me an outrageous diagnostic fee, which they didn't deduct since I also had the repair done as well, then they waaaay over charged me for the part. They lied about only being able to find one available in San Antonio, when afterwords I called multiple auto parts who all had one in stock for 150.00 less than what Pat charged me at SX Callaghan. He told me he couldn't take the part back even though my son had one at Oreillys auto parts. The final bill for a 15 minute part install including their diagnostic fee....$510.00. What a bunch of crap.....Stay away from these rip off con artist, and their leader Pat.

I took my car in a few months back to get the oil changed. Had a decent experience, it is close to my office so I was able to drop off my car and come back after work. I got the synthetic blend oil change for $20 and thought it was a great deal. I attempted to bring my car in again this morning and they told me that the $20 deal would not work for my car and I had to use the $50 full synthetic. I was extremely concerned because they either put the wrong oil in my car the first time or were trying to take advantage of me and get me to spend more money. Needless to say I did not leave my car there and will no longer use their services. The sad part is that it was the same service manager I dealt with the first time that told me the $20 deal would not work for my car. When I explained to him that I took it to him previously and was concerned that the wrong oil has been in my car for three months he shrugged his shoulders and said we will flush it out. It was absolutely ridiculous and I hope he does not feel that way with all services that they provide. Next time he may shrug his shoulders when they don't put the lug nuts on tight enough.

*please share this story* Do not go to bautista automotive repair or you will be scammed. Yes This sorry excuse for a man that owns this shop ripped off and tried scamming my mom today. It’s really sad he literally had her believing he was gonna fix her car for 125$ Then he not only had her run all over the place getting parts for the car and then he was suppose to fix her car in 2 days and on day 2 came and he told her that he was about to do the job but told her that after changing the seals on the transmission it would probably not work and he was gonna have to charge her 300$ to take it to someone who would fix it for 800$. she changed her mind of fixing it there he told her she would have to pick up the car later that night or tomorrow cuz the car was blocked in and didn’t want to move the cars so she would have to come back later and get it and then and he then tried to scare her into not takin the car because he said the transmission fluid was completely empty cuz he checked it and there was not one drop of fluid in there and she would blow the transmission if she did and she took it anyway and he would not give her the key back until she paid him $30 or $50 because he “Diagnosed the car”, even though he didn’t need to since he knew we took it to have new gaskets installed on the transmission because we thought it had a leak. So he made her pay him just to get the keys and we took it to another location and luckily had it fixed it 5 minutes all that was wrong was it was a quart low on transmission fluid. So not only did he lie about it not having any transmission fluid to scare her to fixing it with him and then making her wait to pick up the car on his own time even though he was on site and then taking money from a senior citizen on a fixed income for not doing a dam thing but being a bad business man and a shitty mechanic and taking advantage of the elderly. And when she told him all this all he said is he has to make money he has a business to run and he did check the fluids but he didn’t even touch the car what so ever. He lied ?? about everything And tried to make her pay for a new transmission when it was just low on transmission fluid, and he refused to give her any money back. Please share this cuz anyone who is this evil of a person does not deserve anyone’s money and he is probably scamming a lot of other people and deserves to be publicly shamed!W
