Retail tire service near Blacksburg, VA

The staff are friendly, the service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable! I have used South Main Auto for car maintenance needs for years, and have never been disappointed. If I need maintenance on my vehicle and must be on the other side of town within 15 minutes, the crew will gladly shuttle me to my destination for free, and get me back to the shop at my convenience to pick up my vehicle! Hands down I recommend South Main Auto!

I love Long Shop Auto. I've lived in Blacksburg for over a decade and tried a number of shops but now I'll only go to Long Shop. I found out about them about 6 years ago and other reviewers are right.....they do NOT inflate their prices like other places in town. It's well worth the drive to take your vehicle there. I had an estimate of $700+ for repairs at one place in town and instead had it repaired at Long Shop for less than $400. They've done more than half a dozen repairs for me and they are the only people I trust to give me a fair deal!

6/4/2022 Brought my mothers car in for inspection and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes… exceptionally pleased w the customer service provider all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. got state inspection done less than a year ago. at that time they told me that rare breaks need to be replaced and front are OK for now. in less than a year my front breaks began to wear out and now the damage is pretty severe. I went to another auto repair shop and they told me that I will have to have my rotors, break pads as well as calipers changed. it's now costing me $500. I wish monro muffler had advised me to have my front break pads changed when they did my inspection. perhaps they under estimated things. the owner of the shop, Chris is funny, rather very wierd guy. cracks lots of silly jokes with customers and tries to act smart. I think this is an unprofessional attitude of his because it makes him look non-serious about the customers problems.

See my BBB.0rg complaint. At this point, the owner is unwilling to even look at or consider, after driving this car for 16 years as one owner and no issues, bringing to him for major repairs ($4600) ten miles out of his shop my engine catches on fire. Search BBB.0rg for the complain and consider taking your vehicle elsewhere. This organization has become shady, after a long run.
