I reached a live female representative once, 2 days ago, and she promised me that I would hear from the Franchisor/founder during evening hours after 6 PM...this hasn't happened after 2 1/2 days. I have been told by a 2nd franchisee owner who I know and respect, that the franchisor/founder is a great guy, very responsive, etc...but, I am the lucky customer who has been ignored...I wonder why. After 5 years of being a loyal customer who never sought quotes from other mechanics or tire sales companies...I started to notice a significant lack of attention being paid to me and my vehicles...there were several incidents...clear indifference to me as a customer...indifferences which ended up costing me money and disappointment...including but not limited to guaranteed prepaid services ultimately not being honored. My bet: this review is not posted publicly. I was hoping to get satisfaction from the franchisor/founder, especially for the "prepaid services"...but, with no return calls, my hopes to get the services honored at other Auto Select locations has turned to vapor. My recommendations to all: be wary when working with this Franchisor and the Northland Ave location in particular. If buying tires and rims with promises for future free rotations...prepare to be disappointed. Look for last minute add ons when purchasing tires...warranties, alignments, balancing...stuff like that...shows up after sales and decisions are made. After 5 years of loyal customer commitment, I was really disappointed to have this sort of stuff pulled on me. One would think that the franchisor/founder would enforce better behavior from franchisees. I have other complaints...significant ones...I trusted the Northland people w/ many thousands of dollars...at least $5.000, probably more...I expected a lot better trustworthiness and care...the Northland franchisee didn't even have the integrity to call me about my concerns...he had a junior staff member call and the junior staffer could not come close to justifying the behavior and he and acknowledged some of their mistakes. I attribute the decline in service to the Northland Ave. staff having lost a key staff member...he always was the man I relied on for 5 years...straight forward and caring about his relationships with customers. BTW, throughout this COVID lockdown period, I had a reason to be in the Northland location 3 or 4 times...never saw a bottle of disinfectant, hand sanitizers, re-wiping of counters, door handles, etc....indifference really exists at this location on many levels. I don't care about no one wearing masks, which they didn't, but I saw zero effort to be extra sanitary like we all see at seemingly every business outlet these days...but not at Northland Ave Auto Select.

I have all new parts on my front end. Control arms, tie rod ends, linkage, etc. The tech did an front-end inspection and told me that they would be able to align my vehicle. Now, on some models of vehicles you have rear camber, which can affect the front alignment and prevent it from driving straight. You would expect this issue to be addressed before they start working on it. They are supposed to have a standard procedure in place for rear end alignment issues, like checking the rear camber before playing with it for a hour an a half, but they don't. After my 90 minute wait, after which I was told by the manager that my alignment "was as good as it was going to get" and the tech also mentioned that I needed a bell housing. Why didn't they check this out before the work started? I paid the man, as I thought my alignment was not going to be that far off, but it was terrible. It was just as bad as it was before I came to the shop. I called back down there to see if they would make it right. Daniel said they would fix it once I get my new read end parts. WTF? New rear end parts - specifically a bell housing and 4 new bushings (these are also bad, they failed to notice or tell me). They checked my car (supposedly), had me sit there an hour and a half, charge me full price, just to tell me I need some more stuff on my rear end? I decided at that point that I wanted my money back. I did escalate this to corporate and they referred me back to Daniel. Needless to say, Daniel did not want to refund my money so I contacted corporate again. The lady I spoke with said to mail her my invoice and receipt and they would get back to me. She just called me back and said they would be unable to refund my money because the shop aligned it to the best of their ability...No they did not, if they even looked at my rear end before adjusting the front, they would have noticed the
