When I bought my used Subaru A&A did a great job on changing the head gaskets. They did it in a timely manner and no problems after. Just had a complimentary oil change too. I'm not sure how long I've been going to A&A, more than 10 years I'd guess. They are outstanding! They are patient, give good explanations, and are accurate in their estimates about time and cost (given the vagaries of what they find and where the part comes from). I am more than pleased with this company! I purchased a remote starter for my 20 old Caddy and it gave me problems from the get go. Three times Safe and Sound employees managed to get the car started when I could not. Once they drove to a local restaurant and found me, the second time to my house and then asked if I could drop by their shop for a complete redo. Needless to say, I am impressed with their attention to the Customer. I have been in the Valley 20 years and have not had this kind of customer service ever. I asked the manager why do you do this? His answer was perfect.....we want our customers to be pleased with the products we sell and with how we do things. I wish all service companies in the area understood this and put it into practice. I was referred to TGC Auto by my friend. I have used the facility 2 times for minor truck repairs. The level of service provided is impressive. Also, I felt that the mechanics were fair and honest. All work came in at or below the quoted price. It's a small company so you deal with the same person at all times. This is the only place in Anchorage I will take my truck. Definitely recommend TGC Auto.

I'm here cause I looked them up to recommend them to a friend and thought I'd share the positive experience. I had a 2000 Mazda Protege that I'd had a fender-bender with. Not much damage and insurance covered it. I selected Andy's due to location and because someone else gave me a recommendation. They matched the paint and replaced the bumper without any issue. Everyone was happy. It's a little, family owned place. If you need fancy waiting rooms and coffee you'll do better elsewhere but I'll tell you these folks care about doing a good job.

Review for Moore and Sons I had a very horrible experience with Moore and Sons. They lied to me multiple times. They made my car worse than the first time I brought my car there. Now, my car is breaking down. I’m hearing more weird sounds. I brought my car to Moore and Sons for the FIRST TIME because I heard a weird noise on the driver side. The guy said, it was one of the belts that was making the noise and he changed that belt (cost me almost $200). My husband asked them to check everything because I want my car to be ready for winter and make sure the car is in great condition. The guy said, “don’t have to worry about that, your car is fine”. After I got my car back, I called them because I am still hearing the same noise. Few days later my car just died in the middle of the road. My car just suddenly stopped working after just a few days from this shop. I had to tow my car to Moore and Sons (cost about almost $100). The SECOND TIME my car in the shop—this time he said the alternator was broken and they changed that too (cost about $600). I got my car back again after the second time in the shop and I called them again because I was still hearing the same frkn noise. The guy said to bring my car back to the shop again for the THIRD TIME. He said it was one of the axles that making the noise, so he changed that axle (costs about $325). For the FOURTH TIME, I called them again and said I am hearing the same noise and it’s getting worse. He then promised to get to the bottom of this to fix the problem. Guess what! He LIED he never fixed it. I am driving this car with more noises than the first time I brought my car to this shop. The problem is even getting worse, and I spent a lot of money trying to fix this car that does not have much value. My car is old and worth about $2,500 and they ripped me half of that amount. They lied to me multiple times. THIS CAR SHOP RIPPED ME OFF! WITH THE PROBLEM REMAIN UNFIXED!
