Our family has used S & L at least 8 times over the last 21 years. After raising 3 children through adulthood, my wife, and myself, they have been our go-to place for collision repair. Ron and Dave have been helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. But what is really important is their work is absolutely amazing! No flaws, always looks like new, and repairs last for years. Avoid this place at all costs! I understand you can't choose where you have mechanical issues but you do not have to choose these incompetent technicians masquerading as mechanics. My fuel pump went out on my truck, not doing much research I call for the first tow service I found on Google. The guy towing me says I have to go to the guy at his shop. Sounds weird but I wanted to get back on the road. They totally took advantage of the situation charging me $600. Then to top it off when I get home (150 miles away) one of the fuel lines comes disconnected causing my truck to die in the middle of the road and I lose a half tank of gas. After calling them they said the only way they would reimburse me for this awful experience is if I have my vehicle towed all the way back to them. I spoke to the one that did the "work" and he said he wouldn't honor the warranty on his work even if a real mechanic gave me documentation stating that this incident occured through no fault of my own but in fact was a result of faulty installation. Absolutely ridiculous. I will make sure to comment on every public review forum I find these people at. Do yourself a favor, avoid them at all costs
