Auto repair service near Sanderson, FL

I have been a Jim's Auto customer for several years and have always been satisfied with the service. I always receive informative calls and feel the price is in line with the quality of service I get.

I'm actually another repair facility, so obviously I KNOW how repair facilities work and have been doing this for 20 years. I recently did business with this repair facility. One of MY customers was passing through Jacksonville when her engine started making noise. She went into this shop to find out what was going on with her vehicle. She was told it needed an engine. She then called me to assist her with her vehicle. I spoke to the owner, Tim, who told me the engine has low end banging noise. I asked if he would pull codes for me which he did. he indicated there were no stored codes. I expected to pay a fee but $110.00 is extremely excessive. Given the same circumstances my shop would have charged 35.00, (maybe), probably would not have charged anything. So let's break this down, I was charged $45.00 for Tim listening, yes listening and another $65.00 for pulling codes. Now everyone who reads this, check your local papers. You will find that EVERY shop charges $0.00 to pull codes and I've never heard of anyone charging for listening. I have to say Tim, I truly feel you took advantage of me. I'm not just a customer off the street, I KNOW what you have to do. I KNOW what goes on within repair facilities. I hope everyone reading this sees this as the rip-off it really is. Stay away! I have a 1999 gold edition gts Subaru Legacy kept in a garage for last 13 years (dash is perfect). Geigo insurance uses Roundtree for claims and in Dec 12 I was told to leave my car for 5 days. when I dropped my car off I asked the front desk woman if she would mind asking the mechanics to replace the window sun shields when the car is parked in the lot, her reply was that the mechanics may have to move your car 15 times or more and they can t be bothered by dealing with window sun shields . I came back 5 days later and found that the car was never moved. I should have never left it. I have since taken my car to another auto body shop. If you care about your car do not take to someplace that does not. Can t comment about the ability of the mech s but if the front desk is any indication I suggest you go elsewhere.

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever been to. They have the worst customer service one in particular Mike Simpson. The mechanics don't know what they are doing. You may as well go to a shade tree mechanic as least you will be a able to drive your car a little while.They told us one price and when we arrived it was another.My car went in for a starter and came out with a new engine. They kept my car for 37 days I paid 5,300.00 and drove it for 4 days and it broke down. Then had to take it to another dealer to get what Sunbelt messed up fixed. If you can not provide adequate service do not advertise that you can be honest with the customer give them a choice to go to another deaaler. How can a brand new 2012 car have so many issues I can tell you I took it to Sunbelt in Lake City Fl worst mistake of my life. 08/17/2012-9/27/2012 is how long it for them to break my car even more.
