My experience with the transmission shop was great. They are honest mechanics who stand by their work. The owner Joey, must really have Christ residing in his heart. They are extremely kind and professional.

These are the only folks I've trusted my Volkswagen within the last three years or so - my roommate has brought her Honda there for six years. They are honest, reliable, and the only people I feel comfortable trusting my car with. They explain everything very clearly, have great customer service, and are incredibly knowledgable about Volkswagens. I'm writing this after a major engine repair and I'm still thrilled about them. Avoid this shop! Took my car for replacing one engine part. I was told that the part has been replaced and everything is working now. It turns out that part was put in incorrectly and two main bolts were not even installed. Three different auto repair shops looked a the repair and all said that they have never seen such a bad job. This badly put part caused $1,000 damage to two other parts and this repair shop refuses to take responsibility for their shoddy job. Friendly advice, AVOID Auto ER on Archer Road, Gainesville, FL.

DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I WENT IN FOR A COOLANT DUMP. THEY SAID MAYBE THE WATER PUMP THEY PUT ON 3 MONTHS AGO. AFTER 7 HRS BERNIE Calls to let me know they replaced placed the water pump and now they think its the thermostat which isn't under the water pump which they replaced 3 months ago by Ray's. AFTER 2 DAYS I SHOW TO TAKE MY VAN FROM THEM, ONLY TO HEAR ITS ALMOST DONE. I GET MY VAN BACK AND THE TEMP GAUGE SHOWS WAY INTO HOT, I ASKED WHY IS THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE SHOWING OFF THE CHART, THE RESPONSE WAS ( HOW CAN I SAY IT WAS WORKING WHEN I BROUGHT THE VAN IN). NOW IM TOLD BY THE FATHER OF THE FATHER AND SON TEAM AND I QUOTE (YOUR A SPUTID MOTHER FUCKER WHEN IT COMES TO MECH AND FOR ME TO LEAVE THE FUCKING PREMISES YOU MOTHER FUCKING ASSHOLE.) I ASK HIM WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME AND HE TOLD ME TO GO FUCK MYSELF. 288.00 IS THE CHARGE BERNIE SAID I OWE FOR A BAD REPAIR. NOW MY TEMPERATURE GAUGE IS ALWAYS IN THE PASS HOT WHICH IS THE H FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW. MY OIL STICK HOLDER WAS BROKEN AND THE FRESH AIR HOSE WAS NOT CONNECTED AND MY TRANSMISSION CHECK STICK WAS HANGING OUT. WHEN I SHOWED THE FATHER THIS MESS HE SCREAMED AT ME THAT THE LAST PEOPLE WHO REPAIRED BROKE IT, THATS WHEN I TOLD HIM YOU WORKED ON THIS LAST AND HE REPLIED, NO BEFORE US. MAKING SENSE YET??? I WILL KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED ON THE SMALL CLAIMS LAW SUIT.

Honesty! I have found Clay County Transmissions to be reliable and honest. I have had repairs done when needed and the techs have told me when I didn't need repairs. The repairs have always been done well and the follow up is included. I have not found a more honest or reputable establishment. I will return to Clay Count Transmission when I need work again.

I'm out 2 grand and still my car isnt fixed. These people are a joke, they are spiteful. Was told in addition to the problems I initially brought my car in for that I needed my brakes replaced. My husband does the brakes so I declined their 175 $ offer for a brake job. 1 week later when I'm back because the job that they did do wasnt done correctly, the first question they ask is did you get them brakes fixed? "No sir, not yet. My brakes are working perfectly, " He grunts kinda shakes his head. I think nothing more of the brakes until I pick up my car and i have no brakes. No one will ever be able to convince me that these people did not mess my brake up to prove a point. I also heard of a similar story from someone else , stories where you drive your vehicle into them and have to tow it home. I'm taking my car somewhere else. I'm out 2 grand and still have a messed up car. Do not use them. Find another mechanic

I had my car towed to Advance Auto because the starter died. They checked out the car and called me with a very reasonable price quote. When I picked my car up several hours later, the owner gave me the total, which was less than 1/2 the quoted price - he had checked out the starter, found that it had a short in it and repaired it for me,saving me the cost of the new part!! Additionally, they washed and vacuumed the car and scrubbed my ridiculously filthy wheels. They are cleaner than they've been since they were new! This is the most honest and honorable auto repair establishment that I have EVER had the good fortune to deal with.

We were evacuating from Hurricane Irma and our alternator went out. We had our truck towed to Computa Tune for repair. We had all of our dogs with us and we were trying to make it to my sister's house in Georgia. Thank God we chose this shop for the repair. They fixed our truck and the price was unbelievably low. I LOVE this Goodyear! They know me by name and are always honest and very reputable. There have been a couple of times that I was there and they found one or two things that were wrong with my vehicle that needed to be fixed. Since I am very skeptical of getting ripped off by car repair places, I checked around, only to find out that not only were they right, but they quoted me the best price! Now I know that I can relax and trust that they will be honest and take great care of me. I can't speak highly enough of this place. I've been going to them for years!

Been there before had a decent experience.This visit was for a starter I had them rebuid,it went bad in five months.Brought it in on 6/01/11,was told they had to order a part it would be ready on the next day.The next afternoon they said it will be about five more minutes.A call shortly thereafter they said I had problems a starter mounting bolt was broken.They charged me 100.00 labor and 8.00 for the bolt that they broke,was told hes never seen a dealership eat that cost.Even though I had been a tech in a Chevrolet dealership and told him the customer never paid for our accidents.He just wanted to argue the point and didnt want to hear anything I had to say.Bad business practice!!!!!
