Auto repair service near Mount Vernon, IN

Didn't really want to complain, but you keep asking for it, so here it is. I was quoted $110 to have a smoke test done on exhaust. Within 20 minutes of leaving that was turned into $300+ as I was told it would be a two hour job to test it (felt like that should have been known during the quote, or I would have definitely kept going on my own diagnostics, considering the purge was my next step). Less than an hour later, somehow it was diagnosed and within 2 hours ready for pickup. $525 is pretty steep for a $60 part and under 2 hours of work.

I went in for new brakes. I got an apartment quick which is good, but after I picked up my car there was a scratch on the steering wheel that wasn’t there prior. Good work other than that

The owner herself sold me a cracked motor that she promised was in nearly new condition. She talked me into having her boyfriend install it and he fudged that up anyhow I'm out $1,500.00

ON INVOICE #056060, you have a list of parts and prices that were suggested or the price with our discount and then the price you charged us, which is usually lower,BUT on this invoice for a window crank handle part #1649776C1, it looks like the price that was lisred was $35.26, yet the price you charged us with our discount was $55.96, which is higher! Could look at this invoice and see if we were charged the correct price? THANKS, David Howlett

BEWARE!!! Had fuel problem with my truck, "mechanic" took truck for test drive. Received call following day and was advised my inlet radiator hose/housing had crack, didn't have any problem or leak with radiator prior to this visit, when I got there the hose/housing was completely detached from radiator. "Mechanic" said it was like that when it was brought in, there's no way the vehicle would have been derivable with hose detached. I WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND this business to my worst enemy.
