Car was making unusual sound, brought it into TGK, they diagnosed it and gave me a written estimate for $1100 decided to get a second opinion ad that seemed high….. was able to have the car looked at by another established mechanic who said it needed $200 worth of work…. works great now and our family will no longer be a returning customer to TGK as we no longer have the confidence that they are being honest in their evaluation of work needed

Brought car in for alignment. They did everything but what I asked. And i believe amount was way too high

Car was there three times for a simple alignment. Ive beat my head against the wall enough over the incompetence. After first appointment the car was worse than when I brought it there. I could go into much more detail but it's not worth it. Complete waste of time and money. I'll gladly go somewhere else.!! ????

Very dissapointed, My family meaning my inlaws and sisters and parents have been bringing their cars into Monticello Goodyear for service work for years because of my recomomdations and it made me sick to my stomach to see what they were charging for the exact same parts i could pick up at the local parts store, i googled their parts list and everything came up at the local Napa store not a dealer. I understand labor cost but come on upcharge for parts and when i say upcharge i mean $426.00 more than what i could purchase them for direct from Napa. Best part is they dont even pick up the parts, Napa delivers them for free. Dont give me B.S. about overhead they were still getting over $950.00 for labor, pretty sure even at $100.00 it wouldnt take over 9 hours to complete this job. People wonder why they feel cheated its because they probally are. I will say that all of the people who work their are friendly and helpfull, but i would put up with a gruff personality to save $426.00

I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer and had the SES Light flashing. Using my scanner I found that it was a P0306 Error for misfire in the #6 cylinder. I heard bad things about this shop but being I just moved and that was several years ago that I heard the bad reviews, they were closer (7 miles) than my trusted mechanic (35 miles) I took it there since I was leary of that drive. They billed me $100 for the diagnostic and said that I needed a new CPI Unit for just over $1,000. I couldnt do it at the time so I waited on the repair. When I went to leave, my vehicle wouldnt even start now, found out that they did not properly hook my battery back up. After tightening the battery I went home. I made some calls to price shop the repair costs. I called my trusted shop and another location I have gone to before. They both quoted me over $250 less for the repair but both stated they had serious reservations with that diagnosis. I just brought my vehicle up to my trusted dealership a few days a go to have them look at it. They did the diagnosis and said that it was 1 bad spark plug and 1 bad injector. They also recommended having a general fuel system cleaning to get the other injectors clean before they clog up too. For the new spark plug, new injector, fuel system cleaning AND diagnosis I only paid $540. Boy I wish I had my $100 back for that bogus diagnosis. Stay away from this dealer as they will give you a faulty diagnosis for repairs that arent needed or do way more than what is needed (like replace a whole system when only 1 part is needed).

The services is great and Chad at Absolute Automotive Services always works around my schedule to accommodate the routine service on my vehicle. I feel secure in knowing that the work done and any recommendations for future repairs are genuine.

Junk cars most have been insurance sales then do poor job fixing them mechanics are not even certifeied mechanics and bobdy work done very poor NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!JUNK CARS NEVER WILL LAST

I had royal tire in Monticello repair 2 trailer tire for my boat. Without the trailer ever moving one inch, both tires went flat. I took the tires back to Royal tire in Monticello and all they gave me where excuses why its not there problem. Very politely told me " that's the way it is". Royal tire offered zero assistance. I was told "you should have got new tires and rims". Really, couldn't have told me that before you took my money. Do not have any tire work done at Royal tire, they will gladly take your money but will not stand behind their work.
