Auto repair service near Centralia, MO

I brought my car to the Smiley Lane Plaza shop and asked them to fix the mistakes that the downtown shop made. The downtown shop didn't torque the lug nuts on my car correctly, and the wheel almost flew off on the highway going to St. Louis. I got to St. Louis having lost 2 lug nuts, and the other 3 so loose I could turn them with my fingers. I tightened the lugs nuts that remained in the parking lot of the airport, and found the nearest auto parts store to replace the 2 that had fallen off. The Smiley Lane store checked the torque on all my wheels, and checked the tire for wear for free. I have a life-time alignment for that car so I expected them to do the alignment for free, but I can tell you that the car drove noticably better after did the alignment. In addition, I asked them to reimburse me for the lug nuts I bought. This was only $8 dollars and didn't break the bank, but I felt I shouldn't have needed to buy them. It was really an integrity test, which the manager passed.He reimbursed my costs in cash. He was willing to fix the problems caused by another shop free of charge, and without complaints. I really appreciated that.

I called to set a time to have four tires balanced. I was told to bring the truck in and they could get me in right away. I was there within 10 minutes and then waited 2.5 hours. When I inquired about my truck, the manager said that I was next on the list, but the tech needed to take a lunch first. I would have been happy to make an appointment for another day, but don't tell me you can get me in right away and then make me wait three hours.

Recently bought a new suv and had to have a crank shaft sensor put in. ..mechanic broke a part on engine and we had to get new one. One month later they said car was done, i picked it up and not 10hrs later, problem again. They had to change valve cover gaskets because they never checked the old ones on the new engine. .cost $100:(. 3 days later check engine light back on and it is leaking coolant. ..worst mechanic I've ever been to. I will never take any vehicle i own to them again and would strongly recommend to anyone to take their vehicle to someone who stands by their work.
