Daughter texted her muffler was broken. I made the 2 1/2 hr drive to Boone to take her truck to United Muffler for repair. I didn't have an appointment, didn't know I needed one. But the guys put the truck on the lift & determined it was a fairly simple repair. They made the repairs quickly and I was surprised how reasonable the cost was. I would wholeheartedly recommend United Muffler to anyone in the Boone area.

We needed an emergency tire and TPMS replacement on our 2018 Chevrolet Volt while travelling in the United States. The Mr. Tire location on Blowing Rock Road in Boone NC could not get the replacement TPMS to work on our original visit May 1, 2023 or when we returned the next day. We were promised a refund for the TPMS part that was installed, but we haven't got it yet. They also failed to return our wheel locks. We had to spend over $300 at our local mechanic when we got home to fix the problems. UPDATE: After some time, we did receive a refund for the TPMS part installed by Mr. Tire. After leaving this review, we were contacted by Mr. Tire's parent corporation, Monro, who said that they were sending us a refund for the wheel locks that were not returned to us and the work that our mechanic had to do to remove them. They refused to pay for the work our mechanic had to do to get the TPMS system working again when we returned home. He told us that Mr. Tire had not programmed the replacement TPMS that they installed to the correct frequency for our vehicle. We're not happy with this company's response to this issue.

All I wanted was hime to use compressed air to blow out my a/c, he said he would not. He gave me a bunch of bull about how he needed to take the unit out and use a cemical cleaner to clean it out. We live on a mountain and I am building a home so we have alot of dust, all I wanted was to blow out the fins. It was maintenance. He must be very welthy and not need to work.
