Auto repair service near La Plata, NM

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at an auto shop. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I had set up the appointment by phone and was asked if I was leaving the car or waiting. I told them I would be waiting for it. On the day of the appointment I was again asked if I was leaving the car. I reiterated that no, I have no ride and will be waiting for the vehicle. Wheel alignments typically take an hour to an hour and a half as industry standard. It took these clowns 5 plus hours. And they totally fucked up the alignment. Vehicle pulls to the right and steering wheel is not centered. They broke off an adjustment tab for the lower cam bolt because they are too stupid to figure out that tyou need to jack up the vehicle to make adjustments. They mangled the lower cam bolt so bad you can barely get a wrench on it anymore. Apparently plastic seat covers are out of their budget and totally trashed the driver seat with dirt. There was a used cigarette butt left in the passenger floor well. When I inquired about it I was told they were over there taking out the cabin air filter. A filter which I had replaced a week earlier and all they had to do was ask me, AS I WAS STILL SITTING IN THEIR OFFICE. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TAKING OUT A CABIN AIR FILTER FOR A 4 WHEEL ALIGNMENT?!?!?!?!? Complete and total waste of my day and money. These guys are total asshats. Don't ever take your car here.

These guys are crooks. The will charge you a bunch of money to incorrectly install equipment you purchase from them and then charge you a bunch more to fix it. I have proof. Please take your hard earned money to an honest business that deserves it.

dropped my car off there for gas system repairs. They assured me I would have it the next day. The next day I recieve a call informing me that nedd additional maintennce. I needed a new fuel take which they took 3 days to find, then t sat at a radiator company for 3 more days waiting on cleaning. I called everyday for a status update and was always met with the same excuse, it will be tomorrow. Ive been waiting for tomorrow for almost 2 weeks, all the while paying labor costs that make no sense, since there shouldnt be any labor if my parts arent there. I would dfinitely think about spending the extra money to go to a qualified dealership for repairs, its worth it!!!

I can always count on Durango Car Care to do a great job. I trust them with any service on my car.

Had a used engine put in my 2005 Subaru Outback. Dan's claimed it only had 40,000 miles. After only 5,000, head gaskets are leaking oil and a valve adjustment is needed. If the head gaskets go, this is potentially over $2000 is repair, and I just gave him $3500 for the engine a year ago. Absolutely ridiculous, don't waste your money here!!!
